I'm a Black female in America and I will vouch for all 8 reasons! I worked with Polish women, and we got along very well. We both had clapbacks for days. I definitely can recognize a Polish woman from anywhere. They are exactly how you describe them to be. I came across this video, because I was cooking pasta with cabbage and wanted to see what other cultures use the same ingredients together. I found out that Polish people make a dish called Lazenki or Haluski in the US. Now, my KZbin algorithm has included Polish content, lol.

You go girl ! Łazanki or Haluski if you live in Pennsylvania , is a dish , that all my friends of different backgrounds in USA love . It’s easy, tasty and healthy..hey, it’s egg noodles with cabbage and onion, it can feed the kids in a jiffy.

Was thinking the same thing:) Sometimes it’s actually so much easier to go and do something than to wait for ages for somebody else to take care of it. Painting walls, fixing a tap, changing a lightbulb… in the worst case taking the trash out. It’s easy to do and takes a short time. You have to remember that while it’s not fixed we keep thinking about it and get upset all the time, so yeah, “I’ll get to it” often means “you have to suffer some time longer no idea how long though” versus doing it yourself. (And I’m not even Polish)

When you alter the plans just like that we first get pissed you ruined the scheme and then we're trying to go through all the plans in our head looking for things that will need to be readjusted 😜 And yes, I may be stubborn, but my Polish husband is just as stubborn. Friendly correction: I think you mean "system", not "scheme". "Scheme" in English is not the same as "schemat" in Polish, and it's usually very pejorative. "Schemat" in Polish is closer to one of the meanings of the English "system".

I agree about the legendary Polish hospitality. There are two Polish sayings: "A Guest [coming] into the house [means] God Himself [coming] into the house" (Gość w dom, Bóg w dom), and "Get into debt but put yourself on [the table]" (Zastaw się, a postaw się)

Hello from USA. I really like watching your videos as I can better understand how others percept us. Funny that on other foreigner videos I hear usually how quiet we are, e.g. in restaurants or at intimate settings, So 'loud' took me by a surprise! But true. My daughters complained about my loud music in the morning while they sleep. As also Polish they had to come across in a firm way to enforce softening of my morning routine. Polish women still mostly marry Polish men with who we naturally complete the picture. They are a huge part how we behave. Polish men are handy, work most of the time after work at home or garage or gardens. They love their projects. Being a single in USA I just can't wrap my head around how 'admirers' are ... 'useless' as my Latia female friend says slowly & firmly. Even when being a teenager, I had always someone who could fix TV, electricity, furniture or a car (Polish men friends). Everything was done. To find a man who is a gentleman, handy man when needed, agreeable, collaborative but strong enough not to be destroyed by a Polish woman is not easy man... We like when men know where there are the boundaries, can calm us down & when they are protective.

Let's face it: we Poles are not only stubborn , but also rebellious which can be explained by historic context and instinct of survival as a nation throughout our turbulent history and thanks to this, we are not Germans or Russians. I was born and raised in Poland, and when I was growing up in Poland in the 90's, quite a bit number of Polish ladies around me were pretty focused on the wealth factor. I came from a modest background so I was not a popular guy. Eventually, I married an American women and moved to the States and we have been happily married for a long time. But I am still friends with Polish women who are married to Americans and they are ambitious, outspoken, hard-working, good Moms,...and yes bossy, big time bossy that I feel somewhat sorry for a guy. But those American guys seem to be fine with that....

Polish women after World War II: We cannot live like this! Come on, guys. It has to be done. If you don't do it, we will do it. Polish women after the fall of communism: Everything needs to be changed. Go on. There is no time to lose. If you don't do it, we will do it. It works every time.😜

Haha I think there is a lot of truth to that, what you need to understand is that this kind of stuborness, "hard" character and always looking for optimum was lernt by women many generations before, especially in war times and after. There were many families without men at that time (as they went to fight, some of them never came back), so in fact women tend to take a role of a male and a women in the family. They had to look for ways of doing things that usually men would do, even if that cost a lot of work or was considered hard. Also as money was the issue they would not hesitate to save up in milion of ways but still had things done and provided for all basic needs of the family . So in todays world Polish women are well-educated, they are very capable and won't take just ANY kind of answer of proposal, they themselves will look for doing things in most optimum way and they will act fast as if there is no time to loose. :)

Sooooo funny! Most of it is absolutely true. I'm a doctor, working mother of three sons, I live strictly by schedule. Some time ago my mother arrange an event in almost two weeks ahead and when she called to tell me about it I heard myself saying: "you cannot notify me in the last moment" 🙈 But I'm not loud, especially in the morning! I cherish every second when everybody is asleep 😆 Thank you for this video! By the way: you are both screwed, guys... 💋

As a polish woman who was raised in America, I do agree with a lot of this. If I’m stressed out I turn into a methodical nightmare woman who is relaxed, but also ready to rip the head off a hamster and paint the walls with hamster blood. I also like having special handmade soaps for when guest come. I also work on my own car and do most of my house stuff myself. I’m not waiting for people to find people to hire other people. Also, damn boy, you had time to record a whole podcast, edit it, and publish it, but you haven’t touched a screwdriver in years. Got it. Copy that.

Hahaha! I am a Polish woman, but not a typical one, for starters I am not domesticated and not a marrying kind. However, that point about them throwing cutlery in the drawers and making SURE everybody knows she is doing things, and suffering as she does it! LOL. My mother was doing it and this was when I walked on eggshells for fear of what was coming my way, because.. housework was the daughters' duty and mother shouldn't even need to mention it. My sister also makes a lot of noise with the dishwasher.

Prawda, swieta prawda:) 1.If noone told you, we polish women haven't been too much pampered at schools and at homes, there is always a lot of pressure and expectations put on polish young girls, from everywhere ( I'm now grateful for all of that as I wouldn't have what I have today without that lessons). 2.So there comes a day that I realised that I'm actually capable of doing much more than I thought, than I'm smarter than they told me, with university degree, experience, ambitions, with good work ethic, honest, loyal, emphatic, good mom and just a good person. Maybe because there is 1 and 2 we sometimes seems to be difficult and bossy🤷‍♀️ Maybe because we know we own it, we finished those lessons, we gained skills, noone but we. Thank you for the video, I really enjoyed, it's soo true😉 💖

thanks for the video! I absolutely agree with that and I to be honest, I am now learning how to let things go and that I do not have to be perfect all the time. This gets me sick how I was brought up, that I had to meet some crazy expectations of my Mom. I am struggling not to have bad feelings of me taking the rest. Of course it's been commented in the family but sorry, I cannot waste ALL SATURDAYS for crazy cleaning actions.

As a Polish woman who was essentially raised in Canada and has been living back in Poland for the past 8 years, most of the stuff is reeeeeeally spot-on. I disagree with the grooming though. I much perfer the chill&relaxed style of North America. I don't have the time or patience to groom for 4hrs each morning... let's chill-ax. ;) Great video guys!
