Wiec wniosek nasuwa sie jeden: Noście kapcie, bo nie znacie dnia ani godziny😁 Sorry, but I have to stand up for the "slippers". They have many functions and are very useful, here are some of them: - clean socks - warm feet (in winter) - as a throwing object: retrieving the dog, turning off the light when you are sitting too far, when there were no TV remote controls, but there was always a sliper to switch the program at hand - for slaps for small and big one 🤣 - and of course a killing for mosquitoes, flies and all kinds of bugs. So the conclusion suggests one: Wear slippers, because you do not know the day or the hour😁

@@paulie_b-007 @Vigo’s Dad I wonder if it has something to do with the climate. Here in PL we don't have scorpions or venomous spiders, but we have the cold floors, so we focus more on keeping our feet warm and our floor rugs (which used to be quite expensive in the past) clean :). On the other side, people in Latin countries probably have experienced one too many stingy bites to keep changing shoes every time they go out to their own yard and back, and their floors are often tiled anyway so it's easy to keep clean I guess? I'm totally #teamkapcie though :D

I think this behavior comes from the way polish kids are raised. We are thought from a very young age, that our parents will kick our butts until we archive what we are capable of. So our ways of expressing love are rather by pushing people we love forward and lifting them up to their full potential instead of telling them some stupidity of them staying "perfect just the way they are"😂 Watching this video i realised so much how having polish parents has formed me although we live in Germany

I'm Polish but I grew up in Ireland was married before but divorced now for 5 years. Yes some things are true but I belive it's not about the nationality only it has to do with us and our personalities more rather than nationalities yes there are cultural differences etc but it's also important how parents raise you and what lessons you took from your family home. You can't say Polish women are like this or irish women are like this or French etc etc...... It really depends on the person but in general yeah Polish people are kind and I speak for myself as well 😉

I would just like to say that it is not like we are giving people our kapcie, we are not taking off our own kapcie and giving it to guests, usually it is a special pair of guest kapcie that are kept just for visitors, they are clean and might save your (especially white) socks from dirty floor (it is not like we are not cleaning, but even when cleaning floor twice a day mine stays a little dirty probably due to dust and dogs hair). The thing about slow walking is really on point. But don't worry my fiancè is polish and always gets mad at me, he says i run instead of walking and he can't keep up, always gets mad when we are shopping together, he hates losing me from his sight. Well that is about all i wanted to share, have a nice day.😊

So true about kapcie:D I only realized how polish it is when I moved to another country and it cured me - no more kapcie on my feetB) after coming back to Poland I tried to put them on just to stop my Mum from reminding me every 2 min that I should definitely wear kapcie and it turned out that I am physically unable to walk in them. It's like getting on a bike after a break except you forget how to ride it so it's nothing like that. And of course taking my shoes off just to put other ones on makes me question taking the first ones off in the first place.

Polish woman are ambitious, caring and devited to their family and partnera. That’s why they get easily irritated. If something doesn’t does the way they want they feel their efforts are not appreciated. Never let your Polish wife become relaxed. It means she lost trust in her partner and the relationship. Appreciate this co stany high tention. It makes you moving, too.

@pgruszewski

Not really, I met very few who were. Even fewer were jealous in a toxic way. It is a cultural thing though: 'being jealous' means something completely different to, for example, Brazilians than it does to Poles.

But everybody wears slippers not only Polish ppl. I've been buying mine from ASOS British online store 😂✌ and not everybody makes their guests to wear kapcie or to take off their shoes. When you at your home you do what you want. And you do want to wear kapcie 🤣
@VigosDad
@VigosDad 4 жыл бұрын
Indeed, slippers are a common thing in many cultures but it wasn’t until I came across Polish culture that I noticed how much emphasis can some people give to slippers! (Are you wearing any? Should you wear them more or not? Owning multiple pairs and offering them to guests, etc etc) hehe. It’s lovely though!

This is very accurate! Thanks for the video! I'm have a Polish girlfriend with the same very strong characteristics, but she doesn't want to live together because she says she only starts living together if she is married. She does want to marry me but again... We haven't lived together for a single day and for me that's not how it should be done... So is it true that Polish women want to be married before they start living together?
