Wiec wniosek nasuwa sie jeden: Noście kapcie, bo nie znacie dnia ani godziny😁 Sorry, but I have to stand up for the "slippers". They have many functions and are very useful, here are some of them: - clean socks - warm feet (in winter) - as a throwing object: retrieving the dog, turning off the light when you are sitting too far, when there were no TV remote controls, but there was always a sliper to switch the program at hand - for slaps for small and big one 🤣 - and of course a killing for mosquitoes, flies and all kinds of bugs. So the conclusion suggests one: Wear slippers, because you do not know the day or the hour😁

On the other side, people in Latin countries probably have experienced one too many stingy bites to keep changing shoes every time they go out to their own yard and back, and their floors are often tiled anyway so it's easy to keep clean I guess? I think this behavior comes from the way polish kids are raised. We are thought from a very young age, that our parents will kick our butts until we archive what we are capable of. So our ways of expressing love are rather by pushing people we love forward and lifting them up to their full potential instead of telling them some stupidity of them staying "perfect just the way they are"😂 Watching this video i realised so much how having polish parents has formed me although we live in Germany

Yes some things are true but I belive it's not about the nationality only it has to do with us and our personalities more rather than nationalities yes there are cultural differences etc but it's also important how parents raise you and what lessons you took from your family home. You can't say Polish women are like this or irish women are like this or French etc etc...... I would just like to say that it is not like we are giving people our kapcie, we are not taking off our own kapcie and giving it to guests, usually it is a special pair of guest kapcie that are kept just for visitors, they are clean and might save your (especially white) socks from dirty floor (it is not like we are not cleaning, but even when cleaning floor twice a day mine stays a little dirty probably due to dust and dogs hair). The thing about slow walking is really on point. But don't worry my fiancè is polish and always gets mad at me, he says i run instead of walking and he can't keep up, always gets mad when we are shopping together, he hates losing me from his sight. Well that is about all i wanted to share, have a nice day.😊

It's like getting on a bike after a break except you forget how to ride it so it's nothing like that. kapcie rock! My mother used to make them when I was little. I wish I had a pair.

I'm from Poland and I've got question about kapcie. :D Do you mean that wearing someone else's kapcie is weird or wearing kapcie at all is weird? :)
@VigosDad4 жыл бұрын
Yeah wearing someone else’s kapcie is just weird! Haha. Not a fan of kapcie in general but they do serve a purpose :)

But everybody wears slippers not only Polish ppl. I've been buying mine from ASOS British online store 😂✌ and not everybody makes their guests to wear kapcie or to take off their shoes. When you at your home you do what you want. And you do want to wear kapcie 🤣
@VigosDad4 жыл бұрын
Indeed, slippers are a common thing in many cultures but it wasn’t until I came across Polish culture that I noticed how much emphasis can some people give to slippers! (Are you wearing any? Should you wear them more or not? Owning multiple pairs and offering them to guests, etc etc) hehe. It’s lovely though!

This is very accurate! Thanks for the video! I'm have a Polish girlfriend with the same very strong characteristics, but she doesn't want to live together because she says she only starts living together if she is married. She does want to marry me but again... We haven't lived together for a single day and for me that's not how it should be done... So is it true that Polish women want to be married before they start living together?
