Such a beautiful, beautiful interview. More than his confidence, Vijay Sethupathi is so passionate about his craft and that comes out in all its brilliance in this interview. I was introduced to him after watching Super Deluxe. People across all social media platforms were talking about Super Deluxe and so I decided to watch the film. Before that, I didn't know much about cinema in the south. After Super Deluxe, I watched '96 and bawled my eyes out (I wished I had never known about '96 and Vijay Sethupathi). Then I watched Vikram Vedha. And then I watched him in the Film Companion interview and how eloquently he talked about how easy learning a language is, but how difficult grasping a culture is. Absolutely love him. Hoping against hope that he does a Bangla film once. I shall surely learn Tamil some day just to listen to him speak in interviews like these.

Vikram and VJS are one of the very few actors in the industry who treat cinema as a pure art form,not thinking about fame,money,statdom. Also both of them have absolutely no ego on sets and in real life. I wish one day we get to see both of them share the screen :)
