I was planning to use this as a light for my webcam, can I keep it as a persistent light if I have the Usb C plugged into my pc?

That should probably work, as long as it's consistent power. Some powerbanks and chargers will turn them selves off when they sense the battery is full.

I think it’s quite normal with some slight variance between units, especially at this price tier. It's one of the tradeoffs to paying 3x more for a similar light like the Aperture MC. That said if there's a significant difference and you suspect something's wrong, I would encourage you to contact the seller/manufacturer for a replacement unit under warranty. After all, that's what warranties are for. Cheers!
