But if he has to plan out, and show up a little earlier to do aditional prep work for a Sidemen shoot. He could have been at home doing a reaction video, a small vlog segment or just any sort of minor work for his own benefit. So it's not hard work, but he could easily make a couple grand of profit from some other project instead of doing the "dirty work" for a sidemen video.

Essentially 2 yellows are a red. A red means you lose a video. All seven Sidemen try to have a similar video count. When you're behind on videos you get assigned more videos which means more work. When you plan or host a video, that video counts towards your tally.

@@kunalkumar8217they have a tally for all sidemen Sundays they make. So if Simon has controlled/organised 5 sidemen Sundays, he has 5 videos. If he gets 2 yellows, he loses a video (so he’s at 4). And they try and keep everyone’s tally at the same level, so if u lose a level, ur more likely to have to organise another sidemen Sunday to catch up

The sidemen have a card system to make sure nobody half asses stuff or sacks off a video shoot without reason 2 yellow cards and you get a red, which means you lose one of your videos from the tally, which shows who has planned what video, and who put it together and what not That allows them to see who is slacking and they will put more videos on them so they are all putting in equal effort I’m not sure if it’s still the case, but I do not think Simon is included in the tal my because he does every moresidemen video (hence why he is always the host) so he doesn’t usually plan main channel videos

What's an yellow?

Yellow card. They have a card system in place to keep each other accountable. If someone is late to a shoot by half an hour they get a yellow card. If someone refuses to perform in a video, they get a yellow card. It's all down to their choice though. I'm pretty sure if one of them misses a shoot entirely, it's a red. Their goal is to produce the same amount of videos each. If one of them gets a yellow, they will need to host or be in an extra video or something to make it even with the rest of them again. Two yellows equal a red. If they end up getting a red card, they lose credit to a whole video. It's just their way of being responsible and making sure everyone is doing their part. It's what makes the Sidemen work. It can help keep one of them in line if they are being unreasonable, because threatening him with a yellow card will make him do whatever he was refusing to do at first etc because he won't want to do extra work.
