Why a double standard for men? If we’re talking about an adult sexting or dating a minor then why wasn’t Taylor Swift also canceled and charged with being a pedo? What he did, if true, is still wrong but it can’t be different for the other sex.

Nowadays You find minors, 14, 15, 16 years old worst that many adults. Come to south America (Colombia and Venezuela) and see by urself. Minors from a certain age (way less than 18) shouldn’t be treated as minors, they have grown up brains and can think as any other adult. It’s just stupid ..

Without seeing the texts, how can anyone determine what is and is not appropriate? Appropriate, is subjective. He was NOT brought up on charges. And if he could have, he would have. Just that a fact, think, then what could have been said to a minor that is NOT illegal but is considered inappropriate? That means, it was consensual, with no intention of meeting or talking about doing explicit acts to the individual. So what are we talking about, whats left? Just conversations about sex. What , just random sexual topics? Like i said, without seeing the texts, a child should be able to talk to whom ever they want to about that stuff. Yes conversations get explicit, the topic is sex but the intention could be good. He was not brought up on charges, this is why i would lean towards something like that. In fact, to speak to adults is encouraged, or at least was when i was in school. These days peoples are different.

The intention could be good? What does that mean? Who talks to a random person about sex online as just a topic of conversation? Come on man. He also never mentioned that he didn't know her age, which means he did know. Even if he didn't, this is why you need to be damn sure the person you speak to during a sexually charged conversation online is old enough, which would be very difficult if you don't know them. Oh, and don't forget that he was also married with a child at the time, which makes him even more of a dirtbag. I feel sorry for his wife, and his child. The guy was entertaining to watch but he's a shitty human being, and people will still defend him.

The only reason I believe he'd release the statement that he did, leaving ambiguity to be pondered on, would be that the situation was way worse than we thought. If there was something about the situation that would possibly salvage his reputation, he would've mentioned it. And no, "nothing illegal happened and there was no intent" is not nearly enough.

I think his statement was really poorly worded leaving some to feel they can defend and some feeling they know the whole story. I liked his videos but don't get much time to watch streams. If he did what he basically admitted I think he is irredeemable in the public eye and should step away. Would love to see the chat details and get the whole complete story. I think if he came back his first stream would get tons of views, if they don't take his channel down, and its demonetized so not sure what's in it for him if he can't somehow clear his name.

@@Leon-ph7br There are lot of streamers who portray themselves on stream as they are in real-life (eg. shroud). I would prefer to watch them instead of someone in their 20s or 30s raging and swearing like a teenager just to entertain others ( or for views) even though its a performance.

He’ll “be back” for the same reason OJ came back. In the public eye that is. He NEEDS the fame. May not be streaming, although that’s logical. But he loves the (relative) celebrity. It is what, in part, allowed him to be unfaithful to his wife. Being “famous” helped make him think he was entitled. In both cases I’d imagine. HELPED being the operative word. I know that you don’t have to have any fame whatsoever in order to do heinous, immoral, illegal things. But it most certainly “helps.”

How do we know it’s a female he was talking to ? How do we know the talk was sexual in nature? What if he was talking about trans stuff , of gay issues, or doc said the N word ? Maybe doc is playing 5D chess!
