It looks pretty fast compared to a lot of "fishing" kayaks that are a compromise between pushing and cutting water. Thanks for the review.

It's the fastest fishing kayak I've been in so far.

Do they even sell these anymore? They are really cool.

Here are a few ideas for videos I'd love to see. #1 a collaboration with Kayak Kevin. Maybe meeting up with him somewhere on his tour. #2 Go to a big demo day with a GPS and test out all the pedal yaks for speed on equal efforts. I think over time it would become a highly viewed video.

I'd love to fish with Kevin, his current trip is inspiring.

great videos.always learning something . like the viking profish reload. I would like to demo or rent one.I am interested in buying one for fishing but I want to try it first. no one around NY city has one. would you happen to know any place around NY city that has them? I went down to the kayak fishing store in NJ because their website said they had one and also the profish 440. but they only had the profish 440.also a nice kayak. but more interested in the reload

+Chris Florea yeah I prefer the reload over the 440. I have no idea where they have dealers but I bet you could find a list on their website

Sweet boat! Can you store rods inside the hull?
@l2andom7 жыл бұрын
Pretty sure you can't. They are still sweet kayaks though, used quite a bit here in Australia and also New Zealand.
@YakFishField7 жыл бұрын
It'd be tricky to get rods inside the hull but I think it's possible. I've never had much of a need to do that personally, but I know some guys do.
@l2andom7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, most guys that do around my way are in Stealth's. Ocean Kayaks and some Wilderness Systems are capable of it as well. Would be a bit hard getting in and out of Viking.

@@l2andom My OK Prowler Ultra has it and it never gets used. rods that break into butt and blank sections don't fit easily and the lid the to hatch makes getting any rod in tricky. I'm here because I'm thinking of replacing it with a Reload!
@l2andom5 жыл бұрын
@@chrisjpainter The Stealth lineup can fit rods pretty easily. Give them a look if you do mainly offshore work, probably the ProFisha 525/575, or the Fisha500/555. Their center hatch/storage area is a lot bigger than OK's and Wildy's, and a lot easier to fit rods into. Can store your rods inside no fuss for launching and landing in the surf. Paddleguy (viking user and youtuber) has put rods in via the front hatch, but that's about it. don't think it'd be real fun trying to get them out on the water. Reloads are pretty sweet though, still want one just for traveling so I don't damage glass yaks.
