In my younger days when we went fishing, we always brought butter, a sac of potatoes and onions and we'd cook our trout in such a fashion it was a delicacy. Of course, we had to carry a canoe and paddle on a lake and set up our camp. Spring has just sprung here and the river swoll and where the fish can be caught is another story. I wish to see what will happen next as this winter here was harsh. Thank you and KZbin for providing to us with your wonderful videos. 🌄🍁🌞

Quite a desolation with trash that people litter along. There will be work to do to clean out the mess. The wild geese came back and springtime is about here. This was a fine visit to Cimbrer Camp: you showed and demonstrated how to use a good number of period-style objects. I also enjoyed the pictures you set up with various lamps and firelight. Lovely video. Almost 60 years ago my grandparents lived a very comfortable rural life on their farm. Not quite or anything like a Viking life, but it was uncomplicated, or that was how it felt for my first first years living on and off with them while dad worked across the country. It gave me an idea of what living a thousand years ago may have been like, only with the greater conveniences that were always being invented. Nice video. I've been back from my vacation for three weeks . Again in the German Eifel i made a nice Viking hike there in a sandstone area called the Teufelsslucht. There is also a beekeper who sells mead from his own honey ,which is really delicious, he makes it from meadow flowers and honey from the trees . He thought it was nice and special that i was dressed as a viking and therefore he gave me a bottle of honey beer , this beer is called Odin's brew . Greetings from the Netherlands 👌🏼😉🇳🇱🇩🇰
