Her best live performance is "Slow, Love, Slow". I started my Nightwish journey with Anette, but unfortunately for her, as soon as Floor does one of her songs Anette gets forgotten, which is a shame. I see "Nightwish" and "Viking" together in the same sentence, I sub. Also a good Annette song would be "Meadows of Heaven," but do the studio version as Annie isn't the greatest live and the song deserves it's best foot forward for a first listen. And yessir the pipes are just a prop for Tuomas's keyboards, but they do have some functionality...sometimes there's pyro in the pipes, and always there's a wine rack tucked away in there.

Great reaction. Suggest Romanticide next followed by Storytime and Ever Dream all from the Wacken festival, Nightwish did a 15 song set when they headlined in 2013, every one a banger. Floor was in a Dutch show called Beste Zangers in 2019. Prior to this show she was only known by the metal fans in your country, she is now widely known. Her songs in Beste Zangers are on KZbinr user jenniezelf channel with the chat before and after the songs. She blew the other singers away. Vilja Lied was her first song on the show and the other singers reactions and astonishment are a pleasure to behold. Another one of the songs is Phantom of the Opera which she sang with the Opera singer Henk Poort who was the original Phantom in the Dutch version of the Stage musical.

Hi! Nice reaction, thank's! Yes Marco has a really great voice. He will be missed. Try Nightwish's tribute/cover of Pink Floyd's "High Hopes", Marco solo "Voice of my father" and of course Nightwish's "The Islander". You know Floor from before so I guess you've watched her on Beste Zangers. I guess she's somewhat under stimulated during this pandemic because she keeps releasing "homemade" covers and master classes in singing. It's all excellent. Her last cover of Albinoni/Fabian "Adagio" is beyond amazing, one of her best I think. Both these singers are among the very best live vocalists there is or ever have been. I don't like making top lists, but you get it. /Take care!

Great reaction! One heck of a job if you launch the pyros manually as people who know about pyros say they often times do. There are not too many good live videos by Anette. "Slow Love Slow" Montreux Jazz Festival 2012 is a good one, it is different from any other Nightwish song, jazzy. I like the song and Anette sings very well. Official Music Video "Amaranth", with more than 100M views, is a good one with Anette. I really like "Meadows of Heaven" with Anette, no good live versions, not even an Official Music Video, but a fan made video, with beautiful pictures of landscapes. Hello again from Helsinki!

The songs in the 2013 Wacken set weren't even written with Floor in mind. It was originally supposed to be Annette. I said this in another video, but Annette's best that I've seen so far were Scaretale, Ghost River, and the music video for The Islander. I also prefer her version of I Want My Tears Back, at least in the album. I admit I haven't looked up any lives for that last one, though. I'll come back with some links. ;) EDIT: EW. Apparently Annette didn't do lives well. The perfect Anette song is Bye Bye Beautiful not only is it off her first album it means no Tarja version and best of my 10 weeks of the Nightwish journey I have seen no Floor versions (hit me up anyone that knows of one ) I would say Storytime n Poet and the Pendulum which are Anette originals but the six feet one goddess of pure perfection kinds makes it her own ,It's super cool you have done 2 of my 5 favorite NW songs which are 1 Ghost Love Score, 2 Stoytime 3,Everdream, 4 Song of Myself 5 Romanticide

Do Anette song too they all are so great. Maybe Meadows of Heaven...so awesome. Good that you finally found the best band in the world. So sad that Marco leaves - the best singer they have. By the way ... try to learn who Tuomas is...cause the whole band is about him and he writes these masterpieces. Actually there is a poem in the end and it completes the song. There are two albums of Floor and Anette and five albums of Tarja songs for you to go through.

Metal Mozart is what I saw somewhere. I am watching the learn the setlist in 48 hours when I am not editing or gaming with my wife. They seem to have had a hell of a ride. Tuomas seems like a deeply emotional character with a very good head on his shoulders. I like him :)

@@VikingReacts Hallo Viking! Ann is/was Ann Waychoff een ontzettende lieve (Amerikaanse) vrouw, de allergrootste NW fan. Zij zag het als haar taak om de wereld bekend te maken met NW en reageerde altijd als er iemand voor het eerst een NW reactie deed. Gabriel doet dat nu als eerbetoon aan haar. Ook was zij degene die tussenbeide sprong als er personen waren die hatelijke of gemene commentaren uitten. Zij was al een tijd ernstig ziek en helaas is zij vorig jaar overleden. "Song of Myself" was haar lievelingsnummer. Vandaar de reactie van Sixtus. Ze wordt door ons allen zeer gemist.

All of the Nightwish singers deserve to be listened, and you have some songs with 2 or 3 versions, you have an huge path to go if you want... somewhere in your journey you will choose which one is your favorit singer... Floor took only a couple of songs to convince me, and man she is up there, for me, far away of the previous Nightwish singers.
