I think the scene where Bjorn kills the bear and Ragnar hears his scream is one of the most touching moments in the show. I didnt really appreciate it until the second time I watched it but it is absolutely gorgeous. At that moment Bjorn became a man and - although they were so far away - Ragnar new and felt it in his heart. He knew that his son had become a man and it at once filled him with such pride and sadness that he almost cried. Once again Travis Fimmels acting is impeccable, he portrays so much depth without any words. I copy pasted this from my comment on another video but I like to point this out on every reaction series to this show, it's so good.

Bjorn meets Bjorn. In Scandinavian the meaning of the name Bjorn is Bear. ;)

For anyone whos wondering where Floki's punishment is take from ( remember Ragnar said he took the idea from the gods) its from a Norse legend. As punishment for Loki killing the god Baldr, Odin had Loki chained to a rock with serpents above him dripping venom into his eyes, blinding him. To keep the poison out of his eyes, Loki's wife held a bowl over his head. However once it got full shed have to empty it, resulting in Loki getting blinded again until he wife returned.

That's what we do here in Nordic countries. But after ice swimming you need to get back to a warm place rather quickly. :)

ALL HAIL OUR SHIELD SISTERS AND FELLOW NORTHERN MATES! Salutation, Lola and Milena, being of great power! Glad that you uploaded another reaction :) Wish you the best! And yes, I think it's a good decision to watch episode 16 once you're close to 15... Don't worry, the last 5 episodes won't let you down (!) And I admire your dedication to keep going despite the pain you feel... Your love to Ragnar is the greatest I've witnessed, and tat says a lot... But your clan is with you (Bearded axes in hand, maille, Viking period swords and spears nearby etc), and we will raid with you forever. That was a great episode... :) When Ragnar hears little Bjorn becoming a man... Hell :| Even now I get goosebumps, after 90k times that I've watched it... (But I can't wait for next episode's Bjorn reaction ;) 3:03 Yeah, err.. Gisla has some morbid thoughts... :\ I mean, umm, it just feels like she went through these possible death scenes in her mind before :\

Bjorn and the bear and ecbert and athelstan were the best scenes of this episode. Bjorn screaming and Ragnar hearing that was about Bjorn being a man now. Ragnar new that by the scream. Im not sure if he could really hear it but i guess it was spiritual. Come on ladies. i cant imagine you girls didnt like Bjorns naked ass on screen haha. You didnt even flinch on camera. Ragnar specificly gave mercy to Helga, not Floki. I think Floki defenitly sufferd enough but ragnar thought differently. Bjorn is a real bad ass now. Oh btw, that Northern light is so freagin beautiful! Thanks for the reaction ladies

"You have suffered enough, helga." That's one of my favourite lines in Vikings. Last night here I watched northern lights moving across the sky. They looked almost like that in the episode.

Tsögö Bauggi even tho i hoped he forgave floki at that point it was such a good line indeed. I am jealous man. The northern light is such a special thing to see
@tsogobauggi87217 жыл бұрын
I really liked Maude Hirst's (Helga) acting in these three episodes. Especially in her eyes was much feeling. Ragnar could feel Björn's scream, and the change of things, in his heart. Boy Björn was now all gone. And that time was gone forever when Ragnar was the most happy in his life. Living on the farm with his children and Lagertha. He could never return to that. Northern lights don't feel so special if you live in northern Finland. :)
@AlphaWolfReacts7 жыл бұрын
Maude really stepped up in her acting indeed! So amazing her being i think it was the daughter of the director right ? and then being that good of an actress. I think feel his scream is the right term for that scene. I really gave me the feels when watching that scene. Like the girls i could barely hold back a tear. This show does something to us fans, it's crazy. 29th and we can enjoy our favourites again! Ahhhhh you probably see it alot then indeed. But for me, living in Holland it's special to see it in a movie or a tv show ;-) Im hoping to go to maybe Norway, Sweden or Finland next year and then maybe catch a bit of that Northern light. It could also be Ireland haha we dont know yet. We made a list of beautiful places to visit and to us Scandenavia and Ireland are beautiful places so you might guess we got a lot to do stil haha. Thanks for this small chat!

Yes he heard the screams of Bjorn when the raven flew by. In Pagan culture the ravens were a big part of norse mythology. They could send messages and were basically Odin's "right hand men." So when you saw the raven fly by, it shared the screams of Bjorn.

Just so you guys know the word for bear in Scandinavian is “Björn” (and also a pretty common name)
@Drakskepp4 жыл бұрын
The "best" Scandinavian name you can have is Torbjörn which mean "Thor's bear". It is a relative common name in Sweden
