Can't explain how much I loved this character !!! For me, this is one of the saddest death and funeral scenes on TV !!!!! Surely the final scene broke me like everyone else !!!

The thing that excites and moves me the most is that Ragnar and Lagherta really existed and this series, although fictional, deals with true events. I like to think that they found each other after death in the Halls of Freya, goddess of love :) Together they will fight during Ragnarock, as they did in life.

Umm ya in real life they didn’t love each other to much the story of the bear and the wolf they tell is actually true they were the personal symbols of two of her fathers guards (in real life he wasn’t a simple father but a small warlord) after wining the fight they stayed married for a little over a year and split all of his children were from his second wife

That would of been so good ! With Gyta there, Young Bjorn and their unborn son. Similiar to that scene in Season 4 I believe where Ragner was on the Opium on the boat and he saw Lagertha and the kids on the shoreline waving at him to come. Wish that would of been how it was.

??? Did you watch the show? He absolutely loved her. He only got with Aslaug because Lagertha couldn't have kids. Yea, he might have cheated here or there, but she was ride or die and he knew that. Even after everything else. Ragnars ambition to leave a legacy is what separated them

So many shitty back and forth scenes and the consistently irritating screenplay + the terrible casting of lagertha(like the terrible casting of khaleesi in GOT)..... this scene is among the rare exceptions

I fucking poured my eyes out when I realized wtf was happening and when she said "In my dreams we are always together". I really hated Katheryn Winnick's dumbass feminist campaign that she successfully integrated into the show (unfortunately) and the entire "wOmEn ArE sTrOng" every 2 seconds. It led to me being kinda happy that she died,but then I realized Torvi was still alive due to the actress being Hirst's daughter even though she has no talent or anything,and she will continue the propaganda. However,Bjorn's speech and Ludwig's acting was phenomenal here,and it made me super emotional as I remembered the times when Lagertha was a good character and just how much she meant to him,and as I mentioned before,I let out a million tears during the last 15 seconds of the episode. Fucking hell,that was done well.
