This would make universe mode so much better!! Universe mode is the only thing I do (after doing showcase and mycareer) and I get so bored of it so quick and then I end up not playing the game for ages. This would definitely make me want to play it more! The rivalry designer would be such a great addition. One thing that I would change about the current universe mode which I don't think you mentioned would be getting rid of that star rating system or at least changing it so it's not only based on the player's actions. I know the star rating system gives the player VC )or whatever) but I, and i'm sure other people too, use accelerator dlc so I never really need it.

The things I hate are the things that take me out of the fantasy. Because they don't really change anything much from year to year, you get things like a rival coming down to sit a ringside on RAW and the commentary acting like they're sitting with them even though RAW moved the commentary desk away from ringside. Promos never make sense, like when one wrestler calls out another and dialog indicates it's an interruption. A match just started and the commentary says the wrestlers are on their last legs.

I absolutely LOVE every single one of these! I wonder if it would be possible to ever tackle a different MyCareer mode, where instead of evolving as a wrestler/Superstar, your player would evolve as a wrestling manager, like trying to become the next Paul Heyman or something like that. I don't really know who would wanna play that but me, but I think it would be a very neat idea.

Only thing changed is their attire, hairstyles, music, and some movesets. Quite frankly! We the WWE Universe are tired of the lack of ingenuity, authenticity, and realism in these games. With the new systems out now Ps5 & Xbox S the game devs, the open world concepts. Have no reason not to include the following. PLAYERVIEW Choice of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th player views. 1st so we can witness what it's like to walk the aisle as our favorite superstar/ diva /caw or ourselves. To look up at the nose bleed seats. Have the lazer lights beam on stage. The strobes blinking, the smoke rising, the pyros igniting. All our choice of course. Listen as the ring announcer calls our actual name. As it radiates throughout the stadium. While we descend the ramp to the ring. To our own entrance music carrying props. Maybe repel to the ring like Sting. Or zipline like Shawn Michaels. Perhaps spin around like Robert Rood. Or leap high in the air through the stage like Rey Mysterio. Stand in the sparks like Goldberg. Be elevated like Gangrel or Alister Black. Stop to pose for a selfie with a fan as a face. Or rip up their sign. Draw back like your gonna slap some body as a heel. Pour their beverage over their head/ Throw it in their face. Assend the steps grabbing the rope for support. Walk along the exterior ring apron. Play to the crowd. Listen to the boo's or cheer's. Climb through the ropes. Or over the top if we're a giant. Have the ref search us for foreign objects. Look across the ring at our rival. Or just out at the audience. And wrestle in this view. To engage in a collar and elbow tie up. Put in a headlock punched repeatedly in the forehead. Irishwhipped to the ropes seeing the heels of their boots proir to being drop kicked or the arm of our contender coming at us with a clothesline. Low kicked in the solar plexus then being scooped up. Glimps of blurred images of the tights and knee pads of our foe. Their midsection the rafters above us, ring apron below. The crowd spinning then up at the lights after being slammed in various ways. You get it. 2nd player view can be a choice of referee's point of view. Or how we currently play the game. 3rd from the spectators or cameraman. 4th from the commentary desk. All the while switch views throughout the matches entirety. Put in a pic mode to capture those important images. MORE CHOICES Choice of referee/quest ref I mean real referee's not some generic looking npc's. The refferee's are just as important as the combatants themselves. Add guest referee's. Anyone from the roster male or female. Even some old school reff's from the past such as. Tommy Young, Earl Hebnar, Tim White, Randy Anderson, Nick Patrick, Mike Chiota, Scott Armstrong etc. CHOICE OF RING ANNOUNCERS Mike McGuirk, Neil Phillips, Gary Cappetta, Lillian Garcia and of course Howard Finkle. Including those current on all 3 brands. Jojo, Hamilton etc. CHOICE OF COMMENTATORS Past duo's of Ventura/McMahon, Heenan/Monsoon, Solie/ Crockett. With this addition it would really add to authenticity. Especially when we play in classic matches. Or in career mode. Include those from all 3 brands. This would finally resolve the issue of listening to Cole, Saxton, Graves repeating redundant lines. Forcing us to once again mute the commentary. And if we can't get the voices of the past commentators due to legal obligations. There are some amazing voice actors out there. Moving on. ENVIORMENTAL INTERACTION We want to rip up the exterior ring matt exposing the concrete. Tear up the apron to expose the wood. So we can perform various moves on the exposed formwork. Climb the baracade to flip off like Ricocete or run across and jump off like Jeff Hardy. Run along the exterior ring frame to perform moves like Kevin Owen's running cannonball, powerbombs, pildrivers, chokeslams, Big E splash, springboard legdrops. High risk manuvers such huracarana's, moonsault's off the exterior turnbuckles. Various ways to Irishwhip, toss, launch our foe into the steel steps. Into the baracade, guard rails, cage walls, the chain link fence of the elimination chamber. Climb the titontron & various entrance sets to leap from. Spear, launch, toss our foe through the LED board. Toss our adversary into the time keepers area. Giving us more weapons to utilize. Such as the ring announcers & time keepers chairs & microphones. The ring bell, title belt. We want the capability to Toss, launch our enemy onto & over the announce desks. Grabbing their chairs and monitors. Toss our foe into the first row of the audience. Grabbing the spectators crutches, canes, replica belts, chairs to use as weapons. Cut scene to us sipping their beverage and spitting it in our opponents face. Potential to lean guard rails, tables, ladders, broken baracades against the exterior ring frame to perform various strong grapples onto said objects. The wherewithal to tie our competitor in the ropes. Trap them between the cage wall and ropes to pummel them. Grate their face against the cage walls revealing a crimson mask. Toss, launch, irishwhip, lawndart, catapult, monkeyflip our foe into the cage wall. While in a hiac give us the option to pull weapons from under and around the ring. We want the means to climb the turnbuckles, cagewalls, Hiac roof, elimination chamber pods, announce desks, exterior ring frame, exterior ring posts etc. With weapons to execute coast to coasts, van terminators etc. We want to implement chair-con-to's. Drop toe holds on erect chairs. F5's repeatedly on erect chairs, even the steel steps. Lay them onto a folded chair and leap onto them off the turnbuckle. Reenact what Machoman did to Ricky Steamboat. Repeatedly wrap their limbs around the exterior ring posts. We want the choice for any wrestler. Carry like a sack, drape it over either shoulder, alternate the face plates, wear it backwards, bite the belt, etc. Dual title holders or tag teams can criss croos over either shoulder, overlapped around their waist, tucked in etc. CELEBRATIONS Hold the belt overhead one or both hands, climb the turnbuckle pose like Randy Orton, The Rock , Stone Cold, pose with it like Alexa Bliss, or Becky Lynch. Drop to their knees crying after finally winning the big one. PAY HOMAGE TO THE PAST By adding the following weapons Iron Sheiks flag pole, Jim Duggans 2x4, Bossmans Nightstick, Honky tonk man's guitar, Jimmy Harts mega phone, Sensational Sherry's Stiletto, Babby dolls hairspray etc. STOP REMOVING LEGENDS Add more from previous legends from the 80's. Ones removed over the years bring them back aswell. To add to your concept of cutting promos have it conducted With one of the following choices. Love the idea of a WWE media library. Imagine if they keep the music of superstars they own the music to. For example tomasso Ciampa wasn’t in 2k19 but they could’ve easily added his music to the game knowing people were going to create him in the game. WWE has to own a town of their own entrance music. It would be great to put in and it would help out with character creations. Especially the way they rotate legends in th game.

I'm a big fan of universe mode and I always thought it was ok because they made it to where u were pretty much in controll of the whole thing but this makes it so much better. This is something I didnt know I wanted until I got it

Able to run in from anywhere. Guest commentary, front row seat, under the ring, run in from the crowd down the ramp, ref knocked out come in attack your rival. Cost him the title. Run ins during a rivalry. Attack before the match backstage (would be great for royal rumble. Run in during the rumble replace him) How about a mid match cut scene backstage?

These should be manual and not automatic of course. We should be able to manually trigger the run ins at any moment of the match.

@@mariemely1343 exactly. Also the cash in kf mitb. A triple threat doesn't have dqs so cashing in the middle of a match should be the same. There should be a prompt for a fake cash in as well. Not every time pretty much as a fake out

@@RojoCube A champion should be able to do a promo with his title while being accompanied by his stable partners (example: a promo with the entire Evolution: HHH, Orton and Batista in the ring doing a promo while wearing suits) . And we should also be able to do a segment with 3 or 4 men talking to each other and to trigger a fight between them at any moment. And finally, the game should have multiple men interference (like 5 person interfering in a match and beating someone up). The interference at the end of the match should not have a time limit like in 2k19. By the way, the game should also have a handicap backstage attack (like 4 or 5 attacking one man on the parking lot). Well, I hope I am not dreaming and that all these things will be included 😅

This would be great to have this version of the universe mode. If I can add one thing it would be this : if superstars meet again after a rivalry, they remember it and keep a certain animosity against each other, it would give the feeling that what de do in this mode is not generic

I think this would be absolutely amazing! I play mostly with universe mode and it's very frustrating how limited it is !!! Ur way sounds amazing!! Only thing i would add is brand division... where u can only have superstars from the appropriate show appear unless it's survivor series month ...

I like the Rivalry customiser, however I wouldn't just have options for specific cutscenes. I would also have some cutscenes grouped by type so you weren't seeing the same cutscene every time you used the rivalry type. Also, having topic options when assigning promos would be a good idea.
