When North Indians in Tamil Nadu ask why I don’t speak in Hindi despite knowing it, I said, “Bro, I learnt Hindi for my survival outside Tamil Nadu and not an outsider survival inside Tamil Nadu “! All have totally different culture. I had to learn hindi, since i had no teacher my school to teach bangla. Now i feel so ashamed. The thing is, the local language influences how we speak but North Indians must make an effort to integrate in TN like Telugu people do. Integrated Telugu people speak great Tamil in TN and integrated Tamil people speak great Telugu to each other. A lil accent is ok but appreciate the integration all are capable of.
