Did you plug in the aux dongle into the aux port under the center console? Mine also didn't play sound until I plugged that in and chose aux on the steering controls to play sound. The stereo uses the aux port for sound.

You have to connect your phone by wifi to the android system along with bluetooth to the tablet connection do not connect to mylink

These units have bad sound. the electronics in the units are cheap. Stay away from this unit. The looks of the unit don't outway the sound quality. I bought one and sent it back right away. Seen many bad reviews and decided to try it myself. That was a big mistake. Hope to keep you all from making the same mistake.
