I think you didn't get lot of it because you were not feeling well. You need to have pay more attention to it , It is more possible you missed bcoz you need to read subs and watch the movie so I understand. So more context about this movie 1. Kaithi Drugs and Vikram Drugs are all controlled by a group and distributed in different places so kaithi and vikram happens in different place and timeline 2. The Drug Group logo/symbol is Scorpion 🦂, So you will find it in Both Vikram and as well as Kaithi. 3. Naraine(Bejoy) the cop in Kaithi even though he managed to secure the drugs he seized with the help of dilli(karthi), the drug group killed his entire family. So he joined the mask group. 4. Stepan raj( The guy who is killed first in the video) , Is the same guy who whistleblow the police who seized the drug to anbu(arjun)(adaikalam gang) in kaithi when Dilli(karthi) was helping bejoy. 5. Amir( Agent ) doesn't help the police because he knew that police is the wrong group, and Both Karnan and Amir are same as they are both agents and Karnan is a person he respects. 6. So yes, the last scene the two guys are anbu and adaikalam in black shirt., who is from kaithi. 7. There are buzz that leo (Vijay) and Lokesh's next film is the same universe as u can see certain hints like scorpion logo etc., with the promotions that they have given.

Even if you were well, I believe the story is still quite messy and chaotic. Cheers to you for completing it even when you were ill. In theatres, I watched this: I had a slight headache at the end of it, trying to process all the characters and the music for me was unusually loud. The fight scenes were well made, but I am not an action movie fan as such so I may be biased.

Don't you recognize bejoy? He is the police officer in kaithi. He got information about the drugs from vikram's son in kaithi ( that is the main connection with these 2 movies) . Thats why they killed vikram's son. And anbu from kaithi didn't dead. He is still working for rolex The main villian in the universe which is playing by the actor suriya Suriya and dhilli actor karthi are brothers in real life

Remember for kaithi your suggestion was that the plot was simple... Here in Vikram the plot is a bit complex and your suggestion was it is messy. Not criticising you but it is how it is, sometimes even a simple plot can be told interestingly and get you engaged, which is the success of Kaithi. And sometimes a complex plot can have a simple story, but in the case of Vikram, we just need to focus on the different angles of different characters to get the entire plot of what's really happening and how everyone's action tells a story. Even watching it in the original language "Tamil" if we didn't focus we might lose some plot and connections. So I don't blame you it's just how the story is made. Great reaction btw!
