When Lakshya Sen lost in semi final tge Indian commentaror said we shouldn't forget Lakshya is only 22 . Please be aware that girls tend to peak before boys so 21 vs 22 is not fair. Men usually play at a high level until late thirties, women not so much.

Please ...new gen is quite great tbh ..its just victor has experience on his side currently Sen almost got him if nit for his last minute impatience attempts loosing game points and literally getting the match to axelsen which literally the result of inexperience ..and he was actually coming from hard time from last year he was facing many struggles in terms of his mental health when his form gone intially down ..ge completely got stuck in a vicious cycle where his anxious attitude let him loose the matches and the defeat in matches made him more anxious less confident

Axelsen is a GOAT along with Lin Dan. Though occasionally he might lost to a lower ranked player in smaller tournament, he never failed to deliver in big matches. No excuses, just pure hardwork, talent, brilliant strategist and above all a very confident and yet humble guy. He will stay very competitive up till the mid to late 30s just like Lin Dan and LCW. Trust me Lakshya was having a great tournament and probably his best all the time, but missed opportunity to have a Bronze unfortunately, he was too lazy on third set as if he dont need it. But Axelson never loose his temperament at any situation. 22 is prime age for badminton, Lakshya lost his chance for the life, until he will appear for next Olympic, some deadly boys will be ready from China, Japan, Korea, Denmark
