The problem is that this vile song about the murder of a young woman has been obviously learned by heart by so many and widely circulating among the Orange Order members. The fact that so many people knew the words and sang a song mocking the murder of a young Catholic bride on her honeymoon is sickening. Michaela was murdered in 2011. This song has likely been doing the rounds behind closed doors for a long time among Orange Order members where it was deemed acceptable. Thousands of people are likely to have heard if not sung this song. The disturbing thing is that it is only now that the wider world is aware of this. What else happens in Orange Lodges when the doors are closed?

It was probably sung in several lodges that day. It's just that in this instance that guy McDade posted it. (Definite Darwin Award nominee). You have young fellas punching the air, young women laughing. Middle aged and old men clapping and laughing. Total hatred. Fair play to the employers that have sacked some involved. Oh yes, let’s blame all the unionists and Protestants for the problems. This chanting was disgusting, but let's be honest about northern Ireland, there is a section in both communities which behave in this way.I believe it's up to people on both sides of the divide to shun these people .Joe seems to only point out one side of the community's failings.
