I feel very lucky to experience such a masterful interpretation of this sublime music as well as the very tasteful production. The instrument is gorgeous - it looks like it may have had a recent coat of varnish - love it's shine and also how the different shots make the body dark at one angle and light at another and also, of course, the magnificent rich sound. Back to the playing - your harmonics work is superb! you've definitely got a new subscriber in me - you are truly a very worthy exponent of the guitar and one who is bound to inspire many more players.

Patrik, congrats well done! It is a pleasure to listen performing these beautiful "Preludes", beside having as tyrannical a technical difficulty as the Etudes, are to be counted amongst the masterpieces , not only of Villa-Lobos but within the whole literature of the guitar.

Thanks dear Juan! Yes, Preludes and Etudes are among the cornerstones of the guitar repertoire.

@@PatrikKleemola your intornation, sounds great as well, I’ve been a professional musician for 50 years started with Guitar and then switch to six-string bass guitar, and intornation is always one of the greatest problems.

Intonation, I meant, Siri still misspelled a lot of words 😂😂😂

@@daveking3494 I'm glad that you've noticed that, it is one of my main concerns on an instrument on which the intonation is always problematic.

You manage to give your own personal musical touch to these masterworks of guitar literature. It is always a pleasure to listen to you. Can you tell me how you finger the arpeggio pattern in Prelude 2 ?
@PatrikKleemola11 ай бұрын
Thanks a lot! Arpeggio pattern in B section of Prelude 2 is p-p-i-m-a-m-i-p + p-i-m-a(2x).
@mx707911 ай бұрын
thank you very much Patrik, so you finger it like Frédéric Zigante in his edition of HVL@@PatrikKleemola
