Very clear and balanced overview / review, and you gave the game components the time they deserve on camera! thanks a lot I love the original game but I'm not sure if I need to make it more complicated, and while I love the box artwork, the board really does not evoke the same feeling as the old one.

Love the blooper Melissa 😂 I have the original Village. I think I prefer it’s look over this new version. This new art reminds me of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty when they are flipping though the book at the beginning of the movie. 😆

Village Big Box also includes a solo mode. The original village was not playable solo.

I always wanted to play this game but I absolutely hate this new artwork. Artwork doesn’t make the game, but this is just ugly.

Agreed. I was interested in upgrading to this but really don't like the art style. I'll keep the original version I have since I have the Port and Inn expansions. Not exactly sold on the Marriage expansion.

I played the original village many years ago, but I was not really a fan of it. So I wont get this box anyway. But thanks for the review.
