Good evening, Philip and family. It's a very nice post, some educational parts too. I like to learn about the Ameridian heritage in Guyana. It's a very beautiful farm that they are harvesting the cassava and other vegetables and fruits. It's great to see how they are using the cassava. I'm sure this will be one of the most memorable vacation for your children. You guys have a wonderful night ❤❤️💪💪👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🙏🙏🇬🇾🇬🇾💯💯

if you soak that cassava overnight (tie the bag and drop it in the water), the skin peels off very easily. No need for the painstaking peeling and scraping. In Brazil, we soak it. Great video !!

OK nice to know will have to try that the next time I saw her soak it before but to make farine

In my small(teenager) days,we used to use a garden fork to tickle up the soil behind the cassava tree root( that is to avoid damaging/boring the cassava). This is to make the process of pulling less difficult. Then, we used pack the cassava sticks(old plants)flat on the gruond(in a decent fashion) so as to make re-planting easier. Maybe, you guys could give it a try. Use a large feed bag to carry the pumkins. It is easier and you avoid damaging (bursting )it .😊😂 Farm life is wonderful indeed.. Keep up your good work.!
