The small village of Tadoussac is located on the banks of the majestic St. Lawrence River. Its bay is ranked among the most beautiful bays in the world.
Tadoussac is a very popular tourist destination since it is first and foremost one of the best places on the North Shore to observe marine mammals both at sea and along the coast.
In addition, several types of accommodation are offered (bed and breakfast, hotel, camping) and there are several restaurants and a grocery store with an SAQ license.
The village is also a member of the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Quebec. There are several century-old residences, including the Hôtel Tadoussac, built in 1866 and rebuilt in 1942, as well as the chapel, which was completed in 1750. This chapel is one of the oldest wooden churches in North America.
This village has a very pretty beach whose depth changes with the tides.
