Kerala Style Papaya Stir Fry - Papaya Mezhukkuvaratti

Ingredients
Papaya - 1 nos
Onion - 2 nos
Red chilli powder- 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
Garam masala - 1 tbsp
Chicken powder - 1 tbsp
Mustard seed - 1 tsp
Salt - 1 or 2 tbsp
Method
Firstly, we have to cut the papaya in half.
Then peel and remove the seed and set aside.
Wash them well and set them aside.
Then chop the papaya into small cubes and set aside.
Then chop the onion and set it aside.
Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seed and let them sputter.
Add curry leaves and sauté them well.
Add the chopped papaya and onion ,saute them well.
Sprinkle some salt on them and saute them well.
cover and cook them well.
Add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala and chicken masala.
Saute them well for a few minutes.
Cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
Remove from fire and set aside.
Serve the tasty pappaya masala with meals.

Just watched some other recipes too. Name of the channel should be changed from Village Cooking- Kerala to Authentic Food-Kerala. I am keralite born in Delhi, have travelled to most of India. Kerala villages are far more developed than other villages in the country. It shows that people in Kerala put a lot pf effort in keeping things neat, organised and efficient.

@@ambikashivakumar4026no it mentions curry leaves but she adds sth else too and then subtitle switches to add papaya and she adds papaya, I even checked description. There is sth missing and like many others I too assumed it's hing as it was added in very lil quantity

@@chandrikakalluraya8758I eat chicken and I have used packet masala as well as just homemade masala but even my brain turned off and it didn't occur that chicken masala has only masala so it's veg 😄
