Prawns Raw Mango Curry
Ingredients
Prawns - 1kg
Raw mango - 2 nos
Ginger - 1 medium
Garlic - 6 or 7 nos
Shallots - 16 to 20nos
Dry red chillies - 4 or 5 nos
Curry leaves - 2 or 3 no
Green chillies - -2 or 3 nos
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Red chilli powder - 1 ½ tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Fenugreek seed - 1 tsp
Oil - 2 or 3 tbsp
Salt - 1 or 2 tsp
Method
Firstly,we have to cut and cleaned the prawns and set aside.
Then peel and cut the mangoes into long pieces.
Crush ginger and garlic set aside.
Then we have to grind the grated coconut into smooth paste ,set aside.
Heat oil in a pan add chopped shallots ,green chillies and crush ginger garlic paste ,saute well .
Then add red chilli powder,coriander powder and turmeric powder ,mix well.
Add some water and mix it well.
Add some curry leaves,raw mango pieces and salt ,saute for some minutes then cover and cook for 5
to 6 minutes.
Then add coconut paste ,few amount of waterand salts mix well.
Add cleaned prawns cook till they become ready.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Heat oil in a pan add fenugreek seed ,dry red chillies,shallots and curry leaves saute and fry it well.
Then pour the mixture into prawn curry pan and mix it well.
Serve and enjoy the curry with tapioca.
