What's funny about you mixing up Sally and Hazel, is that you actually didn't mix them up in a way The squirrel that's currently named Sally, was originally named Hazel. But her name was changed to Sally due to a localization error in Wild World, and the current Hazel (the one you saw) now has her name

It isn’t possible. You will only run into your native fruit and then one other fruit other than coconuts. Same with flowers... the game really kinda pushes you to have a Nintendo online account and play with other people

The game is really bad with giving you duplicates, I’m trying to hunt with only 20 tickets today and I get a duplicate already, only about 10 tickets in. Unfortunately 20 is all I have so I have to be way less picky, or else it will unfortunately auto fill and I’ll get someone random..
