Here are some answers to questions you may have.
This animatic is an AU, an alternate universe, where Scott and Xornoth grew up together. Whenever a child in the royal family is born, they get brought to a shrine so that the god, Aeor, can tell them what the child is destined for. Xornoth was, according to the shrine, a cursed child. He was overflown with jealousy when his brother, Scott, was blessed with the powers of Aeor himself. Xornoth ended up killing his father in an argument which took years for Scott to find out. They had a fight and Xornoth got banished to Shrubs world by Scott, with the help of Aeor. Xornoth found a cave there, where Aeor trapped Exor in hundreds of years ago. Exor and Xornoth made a deal in which Exor would grant Xornoth even more power. Without realizing, the mischievous Exor took more and more control of Xornoth over time. Xornoth ended up destroying Shrubs world, killing her father in front of her. Shrub fled through the netherportal she lit up and Xornoth followed her through it and ended up back home. The rest is basically canon: Sausage & Joey getting corrupted and Scott stabbing himself in order to kill Xornoth and Exor. The last scene is basically just Scott and Xornoth reliving some of their old memories together.

This is a really cool animatic! The lore behind this is also very interesting, so have a random thought I have about them :D *Consider:* Shrub and her father were the ones who found Xornoth and took him back to their home to heal him, because I think that he fell through the portal and had a concussion. He was fully healed when he said he was going to wander around their world for a while, as to get used to the surroundings. He found the cave Exor was trapped in and agreed to be Exor's "champion". When he went back to their home, Shrub asked where he had been as it was dark outside. He said that he was just visiting the woods but got distracted by something and he didn't check the time. Shrub just shook her head at his answer and told him to go and eat his dinner. Little by little, Exor began to take control of Xornoth, eventually ending up killing one of the people who took care of him, Shrub's father, in front of Shrub. In a moment of fear and panic, she ran towards a portal her father told her not to go without him. She lit it up and escaped from her home. Xornoth followed her through the portal, but he spawned in the area of Mythland. The rest is just whatever happened in canon!

the SHOCK that went through me at "I'm killing someone" with scott STABBING HIMSELF. I was already emotional about their dynamic but I'm even more enthralled with the way you fleshed them out. Scott looks so YOUNG at 1:04 when he uses aeor's power to banish his brother!!! xornoth is so young when he gets told that he's cursed!!! they were both KIDS!!!
