sorry mate, but there's no maybe about Utd's second. it was offisde and a foul. Nothing maybe about it. And had the penalty been given as it should have, there'd have been more than 4 mins injury time - and finally the ref got something right in adding on the time wasted by utd trying to run the clock down, as is proper. Sheffield were the better team for 80 minutes, but make no mistake they were more than lucky with the way the decisions went - and I'm still half convinced only reason Sharpe's second stood was because the ref realised that a studs up challenge (regardless of being on the keeper, who had both hands on the ball) meant he either had to give the goal or send sharpe off, so I'm glad it stood because I want to see you go up. @@petef7323

Loving the fight shown, but how in hell can the players think they can expect to get anything from the match, and/or think it's acceptable to perform as miserably as that!? But for the introduction and freakish impact of the subs, we would have been dead and buried. You'd hope a result like this will be a catalyst for change in us, but as results in the main have proved this season, we'll just turn up with the same ingrained lacklustre, low tempo mentality/approach come Brentford and get played off the park and either lose but most likely draw

That was truly awful for 80 minutes, then fair play to Whelan who introduced some passion into our play and with a bit of help from their goalkeeper we were back in the game and probably should have won if that shit of a referee knew the laws of the game. Jedinak was abysmal, Kodjia was totally disinterested and hid behind defenders so Hutton couldn't pass the ball to him, hopefully never see them in a Villa shirt again. Ipswich the only side to concede more goals than us, so 5 -5 next week against the baggies! Still not convinced by the keeper, certain Steer is better than Kalinic.
