Liverpool fan here, and I can't say I as surprised that NBC moved the Reds game to their cable channel. The good news was that Villa-Wolves was on Peacock, the NBC streaming service to which I subscribe, so I had the pleasure of watching that match live. I was a bit concerned during the first half, but delighted l in the second half as Villa made adjustments, asserted control and won handily. However the best part of my football watching experience this Saturday was when Max's video went live. Max, you capture all the emotions of game day perfectly whether at home or on tour. Thank you. The old cliche of ‘it’s a game of two halves’ is a bit of an understatement for today’s game. I checked the stats at the end and Wolves never had a single shot of any kind in the second half! Very poor first half from us and when I saw Unai disappear down the tunnel before the first half even ended I knew he was not happy! Second half was outstanding compared to the first. Tielemens was MOTM for me. I actually thought Rogers didn’t play that well tbh but he still had 2 assists! Great video as always Max, UTV!

Rogers had 2 great assists but he was pretty awful for the rest of the game, nearly as bad as Ramsey. Barkley was brilliant when he came on and help changed the game along with the Wolves capitulation after a great first half for them.

I live north of Sydney and was born in Selly oak hospital in 56, raised in Weoley Castle and Bartley Green. Used to go swimming in Tiverton Rd baths. Wouldn’t be surprised if both the hospital and baths are gone, great memories, used to drink in the pub on the corner of Heeley Rd, saw Supertramp there before they became famous.

Not sure how you achieve that, but perhaps the narrative helps - of pre-match optimism, the dismay of going behind, half time regrets and then the change of atmosphere as each of the 3 goals go in.
