Greatest album in the universe

Listened to the album and it's great! It's not typical HIM and there are lots of new things but it's only good. It's refreshing to hear something different. Few bands can just do the exact same album over and over and keep it interesting. Some stuff has worked, some hasn't. But overall Screamworks is a great album. It's not as great as stuff like Dark Light but it's nothing for HIM to be ashamed of. Great album and I recommend you get it as soon as possible. This is Finland, over and out! :)

MonicaBailey - "The guitar" is a broad term. While the playing is, of course, very Lindström - the tone is too clean and crisp. The sound of the guitar on older albums is much grungier and lacks the pop music clarity that is so present on Screamworks. I think the ultra-polished sound is what a lot of listeners are struggling with. It certainly does turn me off to an extent. The once signature overdrive is also not as apparent on the bass. It's just a "prettier" sound overall.

Are you a fan of Him, Ville Vallo, or Bam Margera? I propose a question. What would be better right now than a visit from Ville Valo to Bam in Oceanside California for a nostalgic stroll through SD AND Hollywood? If your a fan you know Bam discovered HIM on a skate trip and fell in love. Second to that love returned when Vile arrived to Hollywood and filmed a music video with Bam (see Bam Vs HIM video on KZbin for reference).
