'Vedic Mathematics' is the name given to the ancient system of mathematics. Shubham Sinha when ever we are getting 9 combinations in the middle, we can't say whether they are carry or non carry, so you have to check the next digits, if they are carry then these digits also become carry other wise non carry. so if the next digits are carry, then we have to increase the sum by 1 and it becomes 0 obviously, and hence your answer is 1103

There is one problem with these types of numbers how to solve these numbers 456+344=

@@nimishaverma2378 You need to practice adding double plus double & get used to looking to the right to see if there is a carry. Once you have mastered that work with triple plus double before going to triple plus triple. Its easy to set up a google spreadsheet which generates random numbers for you to practice. Then just keep practising until you get quicker. It wont take long.

Sir pls try this triple digit 847+657 answer is 1504 but while taking left digits first it is giving 14 coz next digits 5+4 is 9 non carry number. Pls do it after this little bit confused pls give me the steps

@kamalakannan s I have faced a similar problem, but finally figured it out, i have tweaked Sir's method and started doing it *From Right to Left* then to my surprise the problems vanished, lemme explain, *Remember we are going from Right to Left* STEP 1) 847 + 657 = 4 (7+7 = 1 *4* with a carry 1) STEP 2) 847 +657 = 04 (5+4=9, but we have carry numbers in unit's place so 10,with a carry 1) STEP 3) 847+657 = 1504 (8+6 =14, but we have carry numbers in Ten's place, so 15) Hope this helps :) :) Feel free to reply in case of any confusion

847+657= step1) 14 step2) 0 (5+4=9 is 1 digit nos. but after adding with carrier it become 2 digit so move 1 digit to step 1 and it becomes 15) step3) 4 847+657=1504 in step 2 there is a difference in digit thats the reason. Hope it helps

Hmm: for addition you use subtraction of the tens complement to get the units answer but later on for subtraction you use addition of the tens complement to get the units answer. Ironic but very effective.
