Viltrox 27mm F1.2 Nikon Z Review | BEST BUDGET F1.2 EVER!

In this Viltrox 27mm F1.2 Nikon Z review I put this new lens through its paces. I look at things like sharpness, bokeh and general day to day use. This is now the second Nikon Z mount pro series F1.2 APSC lens from Viltrox. I was super impressed by the first Viltrox pro series APSC lens (75mm F1.2), so let's see if this one ticks all the boxes too.
Viltrox 27mm F1.2 Nikon Z mount is due for release in February 2024.

Love the new opener for 2024! It looks like a fabulous lens. Loved those low light shots - the rain and fairy light ones were so effective - it looked beautiful. The video too has such a cinematic look to it.

Happy New Year! Ironically we were in Brisbane for Christmas and experienced those storms. I was out around Southbank taking photos and this lens would have been perfect. I’m very impressed with Viltrox lenses. I have the 13mm F1.4. Amazing bang for the buck. This lens looks like a great addition to my current gear. Thank you. Take care.

It’s an APSC lens. You’ll only get 20MP images on a Z8. Do your research first before buying 🙏

I'm about to buy the 27 voltrox. I already have the 14-24 f2.8 z/s according to which is it worth selling the Nikon and using the 27 viltrox as a wide angle, which will keep company with the Tamron 35-150? I'm talking about wide angle. or am I better off keeping it in my bag? what would you do? Thank you

Hope you realize the Viltrox 27mm is an APSC lens which means it’s a 40mm full frame equivalent which means it’s not wide angle. Plus you lose half your MPs. Id be sticking with your Nikon 14-24 2.8 if I were you

@@adrianalfordphotography absolutely agree. In the video I saw that you use it with the z7, I would use it with the z6II, but the fact that it is a right one already loses something. I will evaluate on trial
