Nice video. I assume when you use this lens on Z6, it goes to DX mode and you crop your picture, correct?

constant aperture f/1.4? there's an aperture ring on the bottom of the lens that goes from 1.4 - 16. does it not work?

Interesting review of a very good lens. The image quality and price of the lens are both great !! My only issue is with the lack of weather sealing. Having said this the lack of weather sealing is probably the reason why the Viltrox lenses are so much cheaper than the Nikon equivalent. J’espère que cela se traduira bien en Français ?? Revue intéressante d’un très bon objectif.La qualité d’image et le prix de l’objectif sont tous deux excellents !! Mon seul problème est l’absence d’étanchéité aux intempéries. Cela dit, le manque d’étanchéité aux intempéries est probablement la raison pour laquelle les objectifs Viltrox sont beaucoup moins chers que l’équivalent Nikon.

I agree that's the only downside of the lense. However I am not the kind of videographer who would film during a snowstorm or on a pouring day (I tried it and I had no issues but I didn't stay too long to test out its limit). I had no issues at the beach but I wouldn't suggest anyone who enjoys photography and videography in harsh weather! Thanks for your input Dennis 😄Merci beaucoup pour ton retour !
