What's the benefit of a tmux split vs a vim split?

A tmux split is like having another shell instance, with all available commands/programs. A vim split is like having another vim instance, with only its available commands/features.

Nice video series. Looking at all of these videos, I start to believe that vim is a cross platform text editor framework. Something like Flutter but for text editor. 😂
