@@obsessedwhitey9641 someone who disliked the video did it as soon as it came out, so they're subscribed and have notifications turned on only to be the first to dislike it. It happens in all big-ish channels, btw, just like there's people trying to be the first to comment, there's people trying to be the first dislike.

This jam was really fun! I think your Twitch chat game is awesome, also your video editing is sooooooo good. I know it takes a lot of effort but I gotta say it is worth it because your videos watch so easily. As in it is fun and easy to watch the video :D

I definitely agree with streaming while doing something brand new i.e. your score board is something I hate doing myself, just staring at the screen whilst wanting to interact chat means not much gets done x) The game you made though is incredible, what a fantastic idea to have! I'd recommend you look at Noita, it's a roguelike that allows for twitch interactions i.e. bomb rain in the game, it could be an interesting concept for MWG, for the people who stream playing it you could have the chat can add modifiers to the match or spawn specific weapons!

I would love to see a video on game jam formats, Mini-Jams 'Theme is know before the jam, but a restriction is announced during the jam' has become my favorite. I would love to know of more formats that can be done on a public level, there are so many cool jam concepts that main work if you pre apply and are committed to finishing which gives me nerves, Ie Game telephone, 'The ultimate game jam, aka game jam tourney'

I seriously love that you use Construct 3, because of you I picked it up and really really love using it. I’ve tried learning other game engines before but could never get the hang of them, but I figured Construct out very quickly and just from using it already have a better understanding of programming logic. I sometimes feel a bit embarrassed that I don’t use a “proper” game engine like Unity or Godot, but having such an amazing person and KZbinr actively using it really helps me be proud. Keep doing what you do!

You should really make a marble run using this. Players use a twitch command to enter their names and a series of rounds play out and the marble that reaches the end and gets points. Then a new round would start with a new level. This video was great by the way Vimlark!

Hey, love the idea and I will definitely be making some twitch chat games. About the issue of linking to another chat, maybe make the game so that the streamer has to put in his api key at the beginning (I'm assuming that's how the twitch chat connection works), and then you link that given api key instead of your hardcoded one at the launch of the game? Just an idea, and I should look up how the twitch chat connection works to better understand.

I think you can make a twitch bot that waits a second(for the game to read it), then eats command messages so you can declutter your chat. Another solution is to have an 'in-game' chat scroll that ignores command chat so you only get comments.

If you ever want to do more unreal engine then get all of the free assets apart from the megascans and get quixel it's free if you have a epic games account also use bridge it's a free ap you can get from quixel to easily transport megascans to game engins like ue4 or unity.
