The Fashion Show is one of the most popular events at Anime Expo. The video doesn't fully convey how well Mikan's designs were received, she absolutely crushed it! I was lucky enough to sit in the front row with the boyfriend of one of her models and Mikan's husband. When I met her husband before the show, I kept thinking he seemed very familiar (obviously it was from seeing him on KZbin). It was when I saw the the heart outfit that I realized whose designs I was watching and remember the KZbin videos of that design and the difficulties she had. I met Mikan the next day at her booth and she is such a sweetheart!

Honestly, I teared up toward the end! I've been a follower for years, and was soo excited when you first dropped the news for even having a clothing line! Then seeing this come to life in a fashion show is absolutely unreal! I can't wait to buy all of these outfits! As a small person, I actually couldn't believe that the variation in heights and sizes. Love, love, loved all your pieces, a great range and very importantly great inclusivity 🥰 One thing I will say, in keeping in mind Asian culture, and what they think people of certain sizes (particularly larger people), should and should not ware…you either made a power move, to break the glass ceiling for us larger girls, or an unwise decision (culturally for them to support your brand), by putting some of the bigger girlies in very revealing swimwear etc, with their butt hanging out. I hope they see it culturally, as an inclusivity power move and support your brand 💗 Well done Mikan, you are brilliant! 🥰💕
