I understand why Vince wanted and needed to create these soundscapes, but I would love it if we could turn back time and Andy could have heard these and put vocal melodies and lyrics on these tracks. The sound reminds me of the 1997 "Erasure" album, which is still me absolute favorite in their catalogue.

Erasure is a million miles away from the type of electronic music that resonates with me, however this album has me intrigued much more down my alley, Ive just watched an interview with Vince where he was asked "what do you think the erasure fans will think of this new album" not sure thats a question id of asked because despite whatever the erasure fans think vince is going to get a new set of fans ranging from IDM lovers right through to Eurorack tweakers and its about time too, he's now entered the cool school.

The idea and realisation are really good from dear Vincent, but his final mix is a little too bass-heavy and unfortunately lacks the much-needed highs. I had to remix the song myself to really enjoy it. 😏
