I have seen a video of Vince and Dolly did a duet with "My Kind Of Woman/My Kind Of Man" at one of the CMA Awards shows with Vince being the host. It was written by Vince in 1998 and the original recording of the duet was done with Patty Loveless that won a best musical event award at CMA . At the end of their performance Dolly said "I ain't Patty Loveless and you ain't Porter Wager either!". Evidently what Dolly said stuck in Vince's mind to co-wrote this song with Ashley Monroe. I love this song and the performance by Vince and Ashley. Leave it up to Vince for a duet!

Porter Wagoner. Dolly was on his TV show for years. He would only let her leave the show is she wrote him a song. That's when she wrote I Will Always Love You. Google him.
