I listen to you every day. I tell you my personal feelings when a song touches a chord in my heart. I think I have begun to use you as an unpaid therapist. After my morning cry before anyone else is up, before there are responsibilities, I listen to you and you help me get on my feet to do it again. Thank you so much. This song was the song my husband played after our 25th Wedding Anniversary party was over and it was just us doing our favorite thing, riding the back roads just being together. Loved, loved, loved those rides. And I do love you and your channel. You begin my day then my little grandson completes it. I now have emergency custody of him. My last effort to get his Mama, my daughter, to straighten up and be an adult, a provider for her son in every way. If she doesn't I will have to do what I never in a million years thought I'd have to do. I think I know why when I had those back to back heart attacks I didn't follow my husband home. God knew this precious child would be needing me. Anyway, thank you for allowing me to dump on you all the time. God bless you.
@RockN2Country

@Teresia Diane Well there just might be a special place for you in heaven for what you've been through and what you might be doing for your grandson. I'm deeply honored that my videos mean as much as they do to you, and though I know it feels like you're "dumping," but you're not at all---it's what we call up north "sharing." We air our stuff out up here far more than in the south, which works both ways. Sometimes we say too much, but along the way we don't suffer silently--someone is there to help. If that's me, that's fine! If it's others on here, that's even better. Life is too hard to go it completely alone. Keep the faith, and keep on sharing whenever the mood strikes you!

Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits offered him a job playing for him, but Vince had JUST gotten his recording contract at the time. Chet Adkins was Vince's idol, and loved Vince's playing ability. George Jones loved him, and gave him the nickname "Sweet Pea". He is a HIGHLY acclaimed guitarist, under-rated even, but many in the know love and respect Vince Gill. Amazing vocals, amazing song writing talent, and amazing guitar talent. Vince is clearly one of the best!

🎵"Look at Us" is a song co-written and recorded by American country music artist Vince Gill. It was released in September 1991 as the third single from the album Pocket Full of Gold. The song reached number 4 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart.[1] Gill wrote the song with Max D. Barnes.🎶

I loved his acceptance speech at the Grammys to Kanye in defense of Taylor swift. Ringo Starr awarded him his like 15th Grammy, and says " I just had a Beatle give me a Grammy," he paused and looked directly at Kanye and finished " have you had that happen yet Kanye?" He respects all music not just his own.

I thought you were doing my request! Maybe I requested on a different channel. Anyway, this is my husband and my song! It is very personal to us. We have been through many hardships and after 36 years still feel the love for each other that is in this song. It came out in 1991 after my last chemo. I was pregnant and cancer was found in 1990. I lost the baby and any ability to have any more. So it came out at a time that we needed it. And we have lived the words ever since. My parents were my role model for a good marriage and hopefully we are a good role model for our nieces - Just Look At Us. This song is also my ringtone for my husband on my phone. Thank you for reviewing it even if it wasn't because of my request.

@Suzanne Cole-Rice I didn't see your name in the comments (and I just re-checked to make sure I didn't mess up), but I'm glad I hit on a song that means so much to you! I'm sorry for the hardships you endured that you described, and am glad that you have nieces to share some of life with. I don't have kids either, but I've got a surrogate daughter, two nieces and two nephews, so my life is pretty full with them. Not the same as having ones own kids, but it's still sweet. Onward and upward!!

You need to do some Keith Whitley. Kentucky Bluebird, Living Like There's No Tomorrow, Miami My Amy, Ten Feet Away, Between an Old Memory and Me, I'm No Stranger to the Rain, Would These Arms Be In Your Way, Tell Lorrie I Love Her, and I Never Go Around Mirrors are just a few that I could think of off the top of my head. These are all very good songs that portray a great deal of real emotions. I really think you would enjoy all of these

Please react to Vince Gill and Barbara Streisand's Duet entitled "If You Ever Leave Me." Richard Marx wrote the song for Barbara Streisand, he recommended Vince Gill as a duet partner for the song. It's a beautiful song and Vince doesn't disappoint. There's an awesome video with Vince and Babbs performing the song. It's great. I think you would really enjoy it. Sadly, his marriage didn’t make it. He was married to one half of sister duo Sweethearts of the Rodeo. Vince and Sweethearts both hit Country* in the 80’s. Vince took off with his first song “When I call your name”. Sweethearts had a few songs...they were okay BUT they were up against The Judds, no competition. I think jealousy tore the marriage apart. *Vince was in Rock with Pure Prairie League in the 70’s - yes, Amy is Vince.
