My brother loved country music so he went to many shows. He said Vince Gill gave the best and fullest he never took a break. When the band took their 45 minute break Vince stayed on the stage and talked about his family. My brother is gone now but the love of country music he had will forever live in my HEART.

By the way he loved kids. It would have broken his HEART to see that more kids died of cancer yesterday because of the lack of funds to find a CURE. Of course the billions the democrats spent to get Trump probably would have helped.

This is a really beautiful song. Vince is a really great performer, and his voice sounds so pure on this. The mean spirited comments being posted here are just so sad. No one, not even a good friend, knows another persons marriage. To judge and crucify someone's reputation, like some of you are doing here, it's disgusting. If you're a Christian and you're horrified about divorce, don't get divorced. If you are expending any energy speculating about someone else's marriage, what led to their divorce, or any of the private details that you have no way under the son to be privy to...that is insane and ridiculous. Pray for all the people involved. That's what you can do, that's what you should do. Let's pray for one another, how about that?
@duanechimoni66099 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I too being a child of God have gone through a divorce. It is very painful emtionaly. No one has any right to second guess why these things happen other than that we all live in a sinful and imperfect world.

+Brigid Glynn-Young Very well said!! People need to stay out of other people's business!! God forgives all sins except cursing the Holy Ghost, so people need to just mind their own; God's forgiveness is unconditional, just like His love!! Once He forgives, He forgets; if He can forgive & forget, we need to also, or we put ourselves above God!

hi brigid glynn young. i was raised in a strict catholic family, divorce was frowned on and i took a lot of flack for dissolving my marriage. nobody wants to know why, they just want to judge. i was left with two children and no household skills. my nickname from my kids was daddy in a box. couldn't cook, couldn't do laundry. i learned and i raised my kids. i later met the love of my life and married her mush to the protest of my mom. she is my friend first and encourages me at every turn, always there when i need her. i don't care on fig what others think, i just want to support her the way she supported me.

kingofallwhites What a comment by a poor ignorant man! I grew up with classical music and not a real fan of country music but I am Vince's. I only found out about him 6 months ago by accident. In 2011 when he had a show with Sting in NY for the CMT Crossroads, they made a comment that a song tells a biography of the song writer. I have been collecting all of Vince's recordings and what an amazing man he is. Behind his humor and being a world class musician and vocalist, he seemed to live by strong principle of life. There have been some fascinating and impressive writing about him in the liner of his albums. One of them has a comment by his fellow song writer who is well known for a song like "Who's gonna fill their shoes" for George Jones - Max D. Barns wrote several songs with Vince like "Look at us" or "I quit". He said "He (Vince) is a man who you would hope your daughter would marry or your son would grow up to be." If you follow his history of songs, other people's writings, interviews, and video clips, you would know Vince is true to himself and others. Nothing fake about him. This is why I became such a huge fan of his. He is a person to admire as an artist and a great human being The CMA Award show where he earned the Irving Waugh Award of Excellence (the highest honor by CMA) tells what we have already known about him. I can not talk enough about Vince and am looking forward to seeing him in a live show in Colorado this coming August.

I have followed Vince Gill since the late 80s He truly is one fine person. His Talent is remarkable,,he is remarkable in so many ways, thru the years of knowing this kind & generous extremely talented man will amaze anybody once you get to know him His fan club parties are so real & down to earth treating us as if we are the stars of the party. I can go on to great length of the good he has done for others. he doesn't get the true recognition he deserves& he seems to take that in his kind personality. Keep following him you will see a great man at work. if you ever get to go to a fan club party go, trust me you will never forget it the experience. the stories I have from personal experience would amaze you. I could write a book. A True Story book. I have many photos of him with me. he is approachable if you ever run into him. Being in his fan club my name has been pulled many times to go back stage after a concert. he is kind & pays attention to you. stay with Vince, he's the best , concerts are Amazing. smokes those strings.

Brigid G says very Christian things like not judging and showing love and praying and the wise advise of avoiding having to go to such extremes as is a divorce, ( What GOD has put together let no man put asunder) , but no matter how gracious and forgiving we´d be sin is ugly and the only solution is to look for God´s forgiveness , and yes Vince is a great guy and Amy a great gal, but the last word, the final verdict is in The Word and they surely know it. I wish them the best!
