i saw vince in niagara falls canada shortly after my dad died. he sang the key of life and bawled like a baby and so did i. i love this man, he wears his emotions on his sleeve. he is the most honest entertainer i ever saw and i go to every concert i can.

Every time I go out of the house to walk and see the mountain, I remember my mother, I feel that her spirit accompanies me. Beautiful song, I'm thinking of singing it for her sensitive death, I know you will listen to me. Thank you Vince for this new classic that will be forever.

Always a favorite of mine. Don't know why there were some dry eyes. Can't hear it with tearing up and never understand how Vince can get through it without choking up. What a voice.

@@joycethomas3633 Yes, he did write upon his brother's passing. The words of descriptive of many lives so the song speaks to lots of people and is popular for many funerals. I can identify with it myself.

I can too Brian. I lost my brother a few years ago. We were so close. I miss him so much. I also lost my oldest son in a car wreck in 2003. I miss him so much.
