The fine Vince paid was for the victims in the other car. Razzle's family didn't receive one red cent. I saw an interview of Vince saying himself he got off easy and felt guilty about it. He also said he thought Skylar's death was his karma. Out of Motley Crüe, Mick is the most stand up guy. I believe Vince has a bigger heart now and still suffers the guilt of killing Razzle. The driver was fine the other passenger was seriously injured but recovered while keegan my friends beautiful daughter was killed instantly almost cut in half. The driver has only just gone to trial as he pleaded not guilty. It went to court last month he then pleaded guilty so waiting for sentencing in a few weeks. Now the driver was still aloud to drive no jail time no fine still waiting for justice. Something should be done to the drivers who cause death or serious injury shouldn't be allowed to just walk and carry on with their lives having taken other life. Anyway I shall stop there. We used to hang out quite a bit especially in The Marquee Club and Gossips in Soho. Great times especially for a young punk rocker who was fresh outta high school hanging out with members of Hanoi Rocks. One surreal moment I always fondly remember was being at my dads playing my guitar when my mate Adam, Razzle and Nasty Suicide turned up, we were probably going to The Marquee or 100 Club or similar. I always remember Nasty raving about the tone I was getting from my Leo valve practice amp. ❤Scott, I hope you see this. THANK YOU for this one. My son was killed by a drugged driver fleeing from the police, 5 years ago. People need to be more aware of this stuff even when it isn’t Vince Neil. I will never be the same.❤️

I got to know and meet the guys from crue after this incident. My first time hanging out Vince had just been released in jail and they were back on the theater of Pain Tour. He had shorter hair, seemed quite compared to the rest of the guys. I think loosing his daughter then this has taken a toll on him personally.

@LCA-Auctions he lost his daughter in the 90s this happened when he was young in 1984 some say Skylar dying was his karma t hey do not know the Lord I serve Vince has never gotten over this or Skylar so yes he chose to drink he needs treatment not condemnation

I think he needs to realize it’s the two in that other car that have to live their lives having someone help them go to the bathroom and eat and bathe. He doesn’t give a damn and I don’t care his daughter died, he’s taken enough lives in one night. He just needs to realize you took two young peoples lives that now are vegetables basically you took their lives away by your stupidity. I don’t see him ever giving a Damn about those two young kids, it’s always his daughter who passed. I understand it’s sad but how many lives did he destroy in one night

Hanoi Rocks reunited in 2002, released three new albums and one Best Of record, and finally disbanded again in 2009. They were extremely successful in Europe and had a huge following in Japan. They took their final bows in April of 2009 after playing 8 farewell shows on six consecutive days at Europe’s oldest rock club in Helsinki, Finland. Michael Monroe, their lead singer, continued as solo artist afterwards, less glam as before, but still a rock legend going strong to this day. Yet, in all those years, he made sure Razzle was never forgotten, dedicating songs to him during live performances, keeping his memory alive.

This is one of rock’s saddest stories, and Vince Neill got off lightly, but living with the knowledge that people died or had their lives forever changed for the worse because of you can’t be easy. You can only drink so much of that responsibility away. Razzle was a really special human being….can’t say the same for Vince.

RIP Nicholas "Razzle" Dingley. I was a HUGE Hanoi Rocks fan. I discovered them through GNR. Izzy made his stage image after Andy McCoy. Edit: not one dime of the restitution went to Razzle's family. I saw an interview where Vince says he still feels guilty. Sharise was pregnant with Skylar when this happened, and Vince said he believes Skylar's death was his fault too. He said it was his karma for getting off so easy. He also said that he didn't ask Doc McGhee to fight so hard for that easy time, but he didn't reject it when it was handed down. He had to stay sober during tours as Tommy and Nikki were shooting heroin and ridiculing Vince for having to stay clean. He eventually couldn't handle it and started drinking again, but he never did heroin. Andy McCoy gave Nikki the shot that made him overdose. Nikki wasn't hit with a baseball bat, nor thrown in a dumpster. Andy did CPR until the ambulance arrived. Andy left when Nikki showed back up and told him he was stupid. Here's Andy's story: kzbin.info/www/bejne/baPOl4qLndqkjtk

Scott, I had a visceral reaction to this video. I remember the first car accident I heard to this day. It was about 40 years ago. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt. I do remember that I heard the loudest out of place bang. I knew what it was and I ran around the corner to the accident scene and saw a car had hit a light pole. I called emergency services and the lady driving was okay. In 1993, a girl I went to high school with had came from college and brought her best friend back to my hometown for the Christmas holiday break. They decided to join her brother and his girlfriend for a night out. Unfortunately, the brothers girlfriend chose to drive drunk. They skidded on the icy roads and smashed into a tree. Both of the girls in the back seat were killed instantly. The brother in the front seat had life changing brain trauma. Our community is still struggling
