The japanese companies also dont have the same kind of tv that we do. Their shows are on late at night and are essentially spliced up versions of long wrestling cards. Our TV is on primetime hour, and each company has about 6 hours of tv time to fill every week, and those hours mostly have to be original content. By nature the way we do TV over here cannot ever be like Japan

it's an outdated mindset. back in the day most wrestlers were overflowing with charisma, personality, originality and character yet were handcuffed and limited. many really shined once leaving wwf and going to ecw where heyman would let them be free. he'd let the roster showcase their strengths to an insane degree. now isn't then though. 2024, nobody is unique, everyone plays video games and has the same sort of nice guy personality. everyone is very interchangeable, across the board. there isn't anything to unleash with these types. yet khan gives them all free reign when they desperately need to be handcuffed and directed now more than ever. turned aew into a disaster.
