My Vince Gill playlist is lounger than the flight from Shanghai to Chicago. I made a playlist with just his ballads. It is nearly 4 hours long. :D. He has recorded duets with so many other artists. Tennessee Line is amazing waltz that he recorded with Chris Daughtry.

Gill has recorded more than 20 studio albums, charted over 40 singles on the U.S. Billboard charts as Hot Country Songs, and has sold more than 26 million albums. He has been honored by the Country Music Association with 18 CMA Awards, including two Entertainer of the Year awards and five Male Vocalist Awards. Gill has also earned 20 Grammy Awards, more than any other male country music artist. In 2007 he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. On February 4, 2016 Gill was inducted into the Guitar Center Rock Walk by Joe Walsh of the Eagles. On November 5, 2014, at the 48th annual CMA Awards Gill received the Irving Waugh award for excellence in country music. This was only the fourth time the award had been granted since its inception in 1983. The previous country music artist to receive the award was Johnny Cash. In his career Gill has sold more than 26 million albums and accumulated more than 50 Top 40 hits.

It takes a great musician, artist, and hell of a man to make this music. I wish more people my age were able to appreciate classics like this one and all of Vince Gills music. If they think they can relate to the music they listen to now with all the crappy lyrics and hip hop, etc. they have no idea how truly inspirational music once was and could be again.. if they would just listen.

Vince, it's hard to say without tearing up, but you have a gift that transcends mere mortals. What I find very touching is your humility and your bond to your dad. I play guitar, but at a very basic level. It gives me endless enjoyment and an appreciation for those who have dedicated themselves to become true artists...for the joy of pleasing others and not for the bucks. Carry on...and thanks!

Robert Taylor man as a native of Nashville , I was fortunate enough to meet him multiple times. My mother worked for a man name Ralph Emery who had country artists on his show. She loved that job , she did their make-up before they would go on. I met artists that I had no idea at the time who they would become such as Merle Haggard , I look back on it now at 26 and am so grateful

It is almost near the end of 2020. This was my favorite song when the first time I saw its MV many many years ago. I was 15 years old when it was released in 1992. I instantly fell in love with this guy's lovely song. The ryhthm, lyrics made me hypnotized. Then I bought his albums previously released before this song. I fell in love with his songs even more. Vince Gill is a true country singer with unique voice in his time. He was my favorite country singer and is still now. Distant love from Indonesia. I am 43 now. I still love this song and many others songs by Vince Gill. Peace.

Such a beautiful man with a beautiful voice. I’m 42, and I can remember my friend’s mom having such a huge crush on him in the 90’s, but this song in particular has always brought me to tears and always will. It’s profound, to say the least.

I saw Vince Gill in college with my friend that I was secretly in love with & he kissed me for the first time that night. We went our separate ways not long after and I never really got over him. Twenty years later I heard from him, he said he always thought of me when he heard VG and didn’t let his kids touch his Vince Gill CD because he always remembered me holding it all excited when we bought it.
