Something that I feel like so many of us NYers who end up moving out of NY tend to take for granted is how much of each season we truly get. On Long Island….the fall foliage especially in the parks is so beautiful, and then of course we have the wineries and pumpkin patches and apple orchards. Fall truly reigns supreme in the north east. Down here in North Carolina, we have fall foliage too but it’s too….southern. Of course being that it’s the south it’s all southern but, it almost feels like a summer Fall in the south.

@@uknw1952 yup. I moved to North Carolina last year from Long Island and it is not the same. Country Fall is completely different from Northeastern Fall.

Best 3 states for Autumn colors in my opinion are New York by far, followed by Connecticut, and Vermont. 🍁🍂🍁🍂Thanks for watching. 👍🏻💯

Back in the 60's my family Iived at 1019 71rst. That brownstone on the corner of 71rst and 11th you passed had the most beautifully crafted hedgerow. I was 10 years old and I remember the owner out there every weekend trimming it with a hand clipper. I went to ps 176 down the street.

I particularly miss Brooklyn in the fall. It was my favorite time to take walks and take in the fall foliage. I am just too partial to city life! Loved this walk, especially the beautiful homes. Enjoyed coming along!
