Italian Chef Tries MICROWAVE CARBONARA For the First Time

In this video I tried my worst nightmare: Microwaved Carbonara!
Obviously in that package there was everything except a Carbonara, not even the image on it represented a Carbonara!
I believe that no one deserves to eat such a thing... not me, not you, not your children or even your dog!

The worst nightmare in my childhood was spinach. ;-) (but not 2day)... but this is the worst garbage I´ve ever seen..... this is nothing for everyone..... everything homemade needs the same time with so much more quality..... I don't have kids, but the real thing I know is to give them real authentic meals, nothing like this..... to create a very good meal is nothing magical.... but its almost so sad 2 see that the most people prefer this garbage..... in 8 minutes you will not make carbonarra!!! for good quality pasta you will need 12 minutes!! 10 in the pot and 2 on the pan!! :)

My GF has been eating those bags for years and I just don't get it. Boiling some salted water and opening a glass jar with pure ingredients is not only easy it's 10x more healthy then those bags.

To be fair, I used to eat those all the time. Carbonara and Alfredo were my favorites. But it was mostly because I believed that both Alfredo and Carbonara were complicated to make. I stopped once I saw your videos, and saw how easy it is to make. Haven't made it myself, as I'm 100% sure my carbonara would turn to scrambled eggs, but I'm no longer eating those.

I agree with you, and cream shouldn't even be a kitchen staple because not all dishes need cream as part of their ingredients. There might be times that we need cream, but not all the time.

Humans were never meant to drive cars either. Microwaves are useful for heating up stuff. Much easier for example than melting chocolate au-bain-marie or heating up milk without it burning to your pot.

The microwave is a tool. You can find a few uses for it in cooking, like some vegetables can be cooked in the microwave (they're cooked in their own water and lose less nutrients). An entire microwaved dish... that's another story and of course it's disgusting.
