Joel yes the meteors or black dots are a thing. It is believed 1. They are the ressult of the fog skybox (object rendering) and the weather/atmosphere skybox (coloring and rain) as when they collide a gap to the outside can be seen for a while just like HL2 or Doom no texture walls aiming to the outside when in SA is black or 2. Its a rendering glitch as common like anything else weird in SA. Can't believe no one is talking about myths.

Lemius that’s what I suspect. the planes that spawn are always the large prop driven ones, only found in San fierro. Though the spawn rate for them is extremely rare. The first time I ever experienced it was back in 2005, the very first time I stayed up past 1am playing this game. It was also the only time I got to approach the plane with it not blowing up first. Once entered though, it sure did! Every other time I’ve found only a plane carcass or seen explosions from that house. All in all I’ve seen the plane 3 times, and seen 7 explosions in that town while playing Sa over this past decade and a half. Making it one of the more difficult glitches to witness. Hell, the first friend I explained this phenomenon to, spent 8 years doubting me til he witnessed it himself.

The weirdest thing I ever saw was a glitch that happened when I was playing the co-op mode on PS2 GTA:SA. My cousin and I were running along the beach on the eastern most side of Los Santos when out of nowhere a car (I think it was one of those Vagos Oceanic or something) drove up out of the water and then continued driving directly into the terrain under the city. Wasn't really scary, just odd. It was clearly a glitch.

As a kid, I always used to be spooked of the forested areas because I was under the impression that Bigfoot would pop up and crash my game or something similar. Of course, I "knew" it was a mod by watching tons of videos on the subject, but I still wanted to find aliens and other cryptids in the PS2 version. Apparently the ghost cars are the result of an oversight. The cars are supposed to spawn on the sides of the steep hills in the Back O’ Beyond area, but because of the physics of the game, this causes them to roll down the sides of the hills instead, making them appear as if they are driving themselves. I believe that they were originally supposed to be a reference, but that the rolling-down-hills thing wasn’t intentional, although it might’ve been kept in because it added to the spookiness.

​@@pascal_case sorry, but at 1:47:14 there is an FBI TRUCK in normal traffic it is impossible to see the FBI Truck under vanilla/normal gameplay gta.fandom.com/wiki/FBI_Truck The FBI Truck is an armored law enforcement vehicle that was cut during the development of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. you can spawn an FBI Truck as the car is fully functional and usable but you can't get it under normal gameplay
