So the real story about "Blank Room Soup" is that it's either an art piece or a hoax for some viral marketing. The creator of Rayray (The mascots) Raymond S. Persi, is in a lot of successful movies. So in the end I guess it worked out for him, but Blank Room Soup is known even more than the characters themselves, which kind of puts into perspective just how incredibly wide spread this was. The gimmick backfired and when it did they decided to play into the hoax even more, and I don't think anybody has ever said anything about it again to this day. The creepypasta as I heard it for the first time back on 4chan in the 2000s, maybe the 2010s at the latest, was that they were a cult who cooked this guys family and fed them to him. I remember everyone was obsessed with cults at the time, probably because of 4chans recent protests against scientology.
