Ehh Blast was just a marketing label for budget games published by Mastertronic. They didn't make any games. This Mr. Bean game was made by Beyond Reality Games, and is just an asset flip of Agent Hugo Lemoon Twist, which released.... 3 weeks before Bean. Let that sink in.

Correct, their specialty was making games based on IPs that had been long dormant for a long time (Top Gun, Jumanji, Beverly Hills Cop, Wacky Races, The Flintstones, Home Alone, Babe and An American Tale) or several years after a show ended such as Johnny Bravo and Xena Warrior Princess. Sometimes they'd do a property that was still ongoing like Thomas the Tank Engine, Garfield, Bob the Builder and Casper the Friendly Ghost during that CGI Casper show and amazingly even managing to cash in on films while they were relevant like the live action Charlotte's Web and the Water-Horse

Yeah I remember it fondly. In the first stage, your house is blown the heck up and you're forced to escape a building against a death timer. If you wait out the timer you'll get a cutscene with a bomber blowing up the rest of the house, killing everyone. The scariest part of the game was rushing for the closet after pissing off the cruel foster parent, and the timer this time isn't "time until fail", it's "time until parent reaches closet". If she's in the same room as you it's game over. Extremely well made license game.

Viewer from northern Ireland here. Whilst your assumption about CEX is mostly correct, it definitely does not resell things for cheaper, its actually a massive ripoff store. Back when the switch came out it retailed for £280 but, day 1 CEX had some second hand units (Somehow) and were selling them for 320. Thats just an example but holy fuck youre getting your ass scalped off if you shop at CEX. I bought Banjo Tooie boxed at cex for fucking £120 But absolutely it is pronounced Sex. Honestly there was a big debate in the Uk for ages over whether or not it was called 'SEE-EE-ECKS', or 'Sex'. Turns out in the ads they actually do want you to call it CEX. Cashies is a far better store tho tbh. Just go to cashies if you are in the UK.

Not sure if a platformer would be my first choice for a Mr Bean game there are already way to many crappy platformers based on excisting franchises. I thinking a RPG would be suitable he is already silent wich makes him a perfect candidate for a silent protagonist that players can relate to. He is also an alien so the story could revolve around his home planet bieng under attack and Bean has to travel home and save his world.

Amazing how replacing the soundtrack with some Follin makes this cheap license game look much more fun than it is. Shows you how much some sick music can do for any game. R.I.P. to Tim's brother Geoff, who made most of the Plok soundtrack.

It might need to work in a way where the player wouldn't be able to know in advance what would ruin people's day, because Mr. Bean isn't really a malicious guy. Maybe it would have you less directly controlling Mr. Bean and more just directing him around, like The New Adventures Of Pac-Man.
