Fun fact: Animorphs had some questionable quality transforming action figures that were made by Hasbro and marketed under the Transformers brand for a short time before becoming an independent toy line. Because of this, Animorphs is considered a continuity within the Transformers multiverse. Bonus fact: a few animal-to-animal Animorphs figures were designed and cancelled, but then repurposed and slightly redesigned as Transformers: Beast Wars Mutants.

I had the hawk Animorphs action figure as a kid. I never read the books, but he fit right in with my Beast Wars and Zoids toys.

@@DoitForTheLolz1 The Animorphs universe is a parallel dimension where the ability to transform happened in organic beings instead of robots. That batman game looks like its following game conventions of today, I mean the close up walking, the bassy sound design, the pretty good graphics for the time, an open world where events are triggered at certain times and you have to do your research. and also did anyone notice that that cape has physics? you can tell someone put a lot into this game. I feel so sad that someone made this and it didn't fulfill their expectations. maybe it was too ambitious for the time, but it looks like if you tried to make an arkham style game for the ps1.

When I played the game at a local game store as a kid, I found it funny how someone thought those words sounded cool in a name (the space in-between doesn't help). Never really thought our language was fitting for fantasy naming, but maybe other nords feel the same way about their languages. At least they have deeper mythology to draw cool names from than we do. Our mythology is mainly used for swear words. Well, at least it provides some entertainment to hear people mangle our lexicon in strange ways.

@AlluMan964 жыл бұрын
@@Madpotator I dunno, it certainly depends on the context and the tone of your fantasy, but I'd say Finnish can be spun to have a mystical quality to it. So much so, in fact, that Tolkien took part of his inspiration from the language when inventing elvish for Lord of the Rings, fun fact. This alone I think colours the perception of the use of Finnish in the context of fantasy. It sounds more whimsical, because it was literally used as a backbone for fey tongue in the most influential fantasy novel of all time. I still think there are some words I like though, like I always preferred "Hiisi" to "Goblin", the hissy pronounciation just gives off a more sinister vibe. Also, "Örkki" is just how the word "Orc" was made to be said, let's be honest. From a modern perspective though, Finnish is just a weird language to listen to, because it one of the least formally spoken languages. Like, it can sound very beautiful and poetic if you speak it to the letter and how it was designed, but because it's so stupid complicated, most people just mangle and twist it to make it easier to use. I think that, most of all, is what contributes to how ugly the language can come off, because a good 70% of spoken Finnish is spoken through so many dialectic spins, shortcuts and general bastardization of the formal version.

The Crow was Massee's debut film. Lee's death traumatized him so thoroughly that he took a break from acting for a year, never saw the film in his life, and said he still had nightmares about it 12 years later in 2005. The same guy who drew DBZ's characters actually did do the characters for Chrono Trigger!

Akira Toriyama the author of DB did the character designs for Chrono Trigger and every Dragon Quest game, he also did the character designs for Blue Dragon

3:45 "Eagles. I guess Eagles." Red Tailed Hawk. Tobias, one of the Animorphs. Perhaps the most tragic. 14:00 "35 year old man playing Barbie games, here we go" Ha! Barbie detective on the PC was a hidden gem of a point and click adventure.

At a sleepover we convinced the evangelical kid's mom that MTV Celebrity Deathmatch was just a silly wrestling game. We ruined a child's chance at heaven and I feel awful. Thanks Anna Nicole Smitch and Ron Jeremy!

I am sincerely sad that anyone believes that, and I am fairly religious myself. It's just a stupid video game. Besides, anyone who has actually read the Bible will know it's full of violence.

Even without the music and fanfare, just hearing the announcer proudly declare "Hoar" in that Warriors of Teras Kasi game makes me giggle. You know, I've heard that Hoar is really into Jizz music. Can't get enough of it.

Conceptually, the Batman and Robin game is pretty neat and has some surprising mechanics (the time system) It's just a shame that the execution is... yeah. Maybe if it was more Arkham-like.

God, they wasted a perfect concept for the Animorphs game. There's this one game on PS2 where it's a modern revamp of the Altered Beast IP, and it's more or less an open world game where you shift through different forms for combat and exploration. They should have done something like that for Shattered Reality, where you unlock different morphs as the game progresses and you can revisit areas and open up new paths to get more stuff! That would've been perfect but they wasted it! Hell they show Tobias in the cutscenes of the game but you never get any sections where you use him to fly around and reach a goal that can't be acquired on foot.

DUDE I HAD THAT ANIMORPHS GAME IT WAS SO SHIT! I had a ptsd flashback from that cinematic, it all seemed just slightly familiar until I saw the slug thing crawling in the guy's ear, then I was like OH SHIT WHAT GAME WAS THIS?!

At first I did not like Batman & Robin, but after exploring and finding clues on the city I started to understand, and even enjoy the soundtrack. Even though it sucks how it has a time limit, but with enough clues one could kind of guess the next targeted area I needed to go, and find the diamond early.

I assume there’s no audio for Teras Kasai for copyright reasons, but how did John Fullsauce get Vinny’s voice so clearly without background audio?
@stevethepocket4 жыл бұрын
He records his mic on a separate track. I think he started doing that way back when the Full Sauce channel first became a thing, since he was in the habit of talking over the BRB music as well and wanted to include that talking sometimes.
