Having watched the VOD for the old playthrough so many times the new voices Vinny does for the starting characters throw me in a loop, but it was really funny with Uncle Stoopnicksi he slowly reverted to the drunk accent he did 8 years ago.

This game has historical significance to Vinesauce, so it's being given some slack, but I genuinely think for every joke it lands it misses ten. Doesn't help that it's so wordy. Not a great game to stream, and the danger of being a parody is you have to be really careful not to just slip into being a bad example of the thing you're trying to parody. With no context, if in 2022 this was the first introduction we got to this game it would've probably been a 10-20 minute segment in a grab bag stream.

It's amazing too seeing how far back some of this games go, like Ninja Nanny and Sherlock Sheltie, Space Kids, Museum of Anything Goes or so many weird nonsensical games that I can't name but their visuals are burned into my head. People have been making "Sunday Games" as far back as DOS days, we'll probably never run out of them.

fun fact in 2017 I emailed the developer of this game asking if I could contribute music to the game and he asked for a portfolio so I sent him 4 original pieces of music composed specifically with the game in mind and he never got back to me so I guess he didn't like my music, cool to see the game finally being finished and released
