Alright, here's my headcanon for this. XP After learning the truth about his condition from Mario, Luigi begins trying to see through the hallucinations brought on by his Terminal Seven Brain Cancer and the drugs he takes to help it. He's aware of the real world, but he's still stuck in a world of illusions, so he has to try hard to keep focused. Mario, proud of his brother's attempts to improve himself, starts taking Luigi around with him more often, often times letting him join him on plumbing jobs as an assistant. All the extra time they spend together, however, starts to remind Luigi of how Mario sexually abused him. He begins to think of such things all the time and finds him self falling in love with his brother and wanting to be his lover. Luigi however thinks that these feelings are also part of the illusions he has to break through and tries his hardest to push them to the back of his mind. It isn't working very well however, and he's convinced he's slipping back into his illusions. Mario knows something's wrong, but he doesn't' know what and it's killing him inside to see his brother's diminishing hope. Will Mario find out the truth? Will Luigi ever overcome the illusions of Terminal Seven? Will Luigi find true love in the arms of his older brother? ....Why did I even think of this?
